@sovrnart: The indie NFT art platform sovrn.art is about to launch an NFT series called "CENTS" on Bitcoin, inscribing images of 10,000 pennies on Bitcoin and offering free minting. Sovrn selected pennies minted in copper before 1982 from hundreds of thousands (in 1982, the material of pennies changed from copper to zinc due to cost reasons), and besides inscribing them on Bitcoin. It also melted the physical pennies into a complete copper block.

@mikeinspace: Mike In Space, founder of the Bitcoin NFT protocol Bitcoin Stamps, has activated the improvement proposal OLGA (Octet Linked Graphics & Artifacts) at Bitcoin block height 833000. The proposal introduces a method that combines Counterparty issuance transactions to store files, by dividing the file data into chunks and then constituting multiple P2WSH outputs. By using the OLGA method, the size of a Bitcoin transaction has been reduced from 3 times the size of the file to 1.5 times, and just 11 satoshis are burnt per byte, reducing the minting cost by more than 50% compared to the original method.

3/ The "evolution" (i.e., progressive revealing) of the Bitcoin NFT project "Quantum Cats" is ongoing. On March 18, Quantum Cats 0673 revealed the Golden Cape feature, meaning its holder can claim a Taproot Wizards in the future. Quantum Cats 0673 was sold for 1.9 bitcoins on Magic Eden yesterday.
4/ "Achi, the dog wif hat" NFT (a meme photo taken on November 17, 2018) was sold for 1210.759 ETH (about 4.3 million USD) on Foundation, setting the second-highest auction sale price on Foundation.
5/ Starbucks announced it will shut down its NFT loyalty rewards program "Starbucks Odyssey" on the Polygon network on March 31. It's still unclear whether the program will be permanently shut down, but several Discord Mods of the project have announced their unemployment on Twitter.
