The site of the reconstruction project of the children’s Park has successively started the greening and relocation work, and the pile driver has gradually entered the site for construction, marking the official start of the reconstruction work of the children’s Park. It is expected to be completed in the second half of 2022.

Ningbo children’s Park project is located in the northeast corner of the intersection of Zhongxing Road and Xingning road in Yinzhou District, reaching Ningbo ocean world in the East, Zhongxing Road in the west, zhongtanghe in the north and Xingning road in the south. The total construction land area of the project is about 89000 square meters (excluding track land), and the greening rate is about 70%. The main contents of park construction include underground space construction and ground park reconstruction. Among them, the construction of underground space includes underground parking lot, park supporting service center and relevant supporting houses. The transformation of ground park includes the improvement of park infrastructure and landscape greening quality, the renewal of children’s activity facilities and the connection of Tanghe greenway.

Ningbo children’s Park was officially completed and opened to the outside world on January 22, 2001. Covering an area of about 13 hectares, the park is a large leisure children’s entertainment park in our city. After years of operation, the amusement facilities are getting old, and the image of the park needs to be improved. The reconstruction of the children’s Park will retain the current good vegetation and water body, and comprehensively update the old children’s activity facilities in the park. The project is of great significance to enhance the urban image of Ningbo, optimize the infrastructure conditions of the park and improve the children’s activity space.

In the future, the park will fully integrate children’s public welfare, civilization creation, social experience, community service and other comprehensive functions to build a leisure and amusement platform for citizens’ life. At the same time, the existing old park green space will be reconstructed and upgraded to provide effective dust and noise barriers for the surrounding crowd activity areas. After completion, it will play an important role in beautifying the city’s appearance, enriching the landscape level, improving the regional ecological environment and improving the quality of the city.
