Here at Lab Digital we have pioneered using MACH technology as the foundation for how we build modern, scalable digital products since the beginning of our company. At the heart of our approach is the belief that when we share our tools, processes and knowledge with the industry and community, we can help build a body of best practices that will benefit everyone.
As adoption of MACH has grown across the digital industries, we have partnered with other enthusiastic MACH vendors such as commercetools, Amplience, Contentful and Algolia, and we collaborate with other agencies such as Valtech and CapGemini to advocate for MACH technologies and composable architecture.
Today we’re excited to announce that we are taking the next step in expanding our advocacy and outreach efforts by joining the MACH Alliance.
The MACH Alliance is a vendor-neutral non-profit organisation whose goal is to educate and support the industry in understanding what the next generation of technology can deliver, and aid in the transition from legacy infrastructure and architecture to modern, scalable, composable solutions.
We feel that membership aligns well with our mission to democratise MACH technology. Last year we released our open-source MACH Composer toolset so that anyone can manage and deploy complex, SaaS-powered microservice applications with a minimum of setup and effort to maintain. We also contribute a wide range of Terraform providers and integrations through our open source efforts, which you can find in our Github repository, and we’re planning to share much more in the future.
As part of the MACH Alliance we will be able to be even more active in steering discussions across the future of technology, marketing and growth, as well as bringing to the organisation our extensive experience building large-scale composable solutions for clients worldwide. Our goal is to use this platform to advance our vocal and opinionated support for MACH principles, pushing for further democratisation of these transformative technologies and working to ensure that everyone has access to and can benefit from the tools that they need to be successful.
As Caspar Rasmussen, President of the MACH Alliance explains,
SIs like Lab Digital, play a critical role in the MACH ecosystem. As a MACH Alliance member, Lab Digital’s certified expertise in MACH will be instrumental to both current and future customers’ ability to compete and innovate digitally. Lab Digital’s commitment to forming an open community of aligned MACH tooling like MACH Composer, was an influential finding during our evaluation.
We’re delighted to be a part of this group of like-minded companies, and look forward to the many opportunities to learn from each other as we work to build the next generation of MACH solutions.
