According to a report from businessinsider, the company hopes to launch a new advertising plan that allows brands to place advertising content in free Xbox games.

It is expected that these types of advertisements may appear on the billboards of racing games in the third quarter of this year. Advertising in the form of avatar skin or video is also possible, although the specific form cannot be confirmed.

Microsoft has been working on the plan since 2018 and is currently looking for advertising technology companies that can help it start a business. The source also claimed that Microsoft would not share in these advertisements, but would be more interested in establishing an Xbox advertising network to generate revenue for developers making free games.
