🌎 DESIGNING FOR THE PLANET FROM DAY ONE

🌎 What is the real price we pay for? On our planet are now 8 billion people.

Now we focus on this structure considered from a higher perspective which is our collective use of technology & ethics.

Technology itself can assist in addressing challenges related to sustainable development when used ethically. However, this presupposes that we are knowledgeable about issues such as the real price (environmental and social) that we pay associated with luxury brands (environmental footprint and misuse, KPIs marketing strategies set for all costs, and unsustainable consumption habits).

The use of technology belongs to ethics. Technology itself is neutral. Our technological advancements should be guided by an ethical approach in all activities.

I believe that if this awareness is delivered, we can be free, for instance, from technologies like Digital Twin NFTs. This is because we use ethical values and trust each other, and constant monitoring of all our activities is not necessary.  It's important to note that Digital Twin NFTs themselves are not sustainable. They consume significant energy and natural resources.

My strategic insight for now and the near future:

We're not yet at a point where we can fully digitize everything because, for instance, we're still learning, how to use technology in an environmentally sustainable way. Our collective patterns are visible in our carbon footprint, UNgols for 2030 (-1,5C), and commitments such as the Paris Agreement aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050.

This highlights that now is our time to give back to our planet and we can use blockchain technology to resolve global challenges. It's crucial to support our ideas with the sustainable and ethical use of technology and educate ethics and sustainability in all our activities not only focusing on technology.

Envisioned scenarios:

All we create is based on a balanced foundation of giving & receiving relationship with our planet & ethical use of new Technologies.

I see it as the power of the triad: Technology, Ethical Practices (e.g., collecting for the right reasons, designing for the planet from day one), Giving Back Strategies, and Sustainable Development (business models, including circular or digital-native approaches).
