Console’s New Feature ‘Verify’: Distribute Discord Roles via Wallet Verification

We’ve added a new feature for NFT creators called ‘Verify.’ Creators can create and distribute roles based on certain criteria–currently, we only offer the ability to determine roles based on the number of NFTs held in a single wallet. After an NFT creator sets the minimum number for each role and adds our bot to a channel, holders can connect their wallet to automatically receive a role.

The following is guide on how creators and holders can use our new feature, ‘Verify.’

For NFT Creators

After installing our bot on your server, navigate to the ‘Verify’ tab on the left-hand panel.

You can toggle on the ‘Verify’ function to enable the feature. Under ‘Role Settings,’ you can individually name and set each role. Enter the minimum number of NFTs needed to receive your recently created roles. Only one role can be distributed per verified wallet address and the role will be determined by the number of NFTs.

For example, if a holder owns 15 NFTs and the following roles are available:

  • Coffee with sugar— minimum 1 NFT
  • Donut —minimum 5 NFTs
  • English Breakfast —minimum 10 NFTs
  • Chicken & Waffles — minimum 50 NFTs

… then the holder’s role will be ‘English Breakfast.’

The reason it’s not ‘Chicken & Waffles’ is because the holder does not have enough NFTs to receive that role.

After you’ve set your roles, select the channel in your server where you would like holders to initiate the verification process.

To check who has verified their NFT holdings, select ‘View NFT holders.’ You can filter by ‘Role Title‘”’ or export the list as a CSV file.

For NFT Holders

NFT Holders: Make sure to ask your admins if they have enabled “Verify” and if they’ve created roles.

NFT Creators: Share our User Guide (https://userguide.nft-terminal.com/verify) with your holders.

Use the slash command “/verify” to initiate the verification process and make sure you enter the command in the correct channel.

Please note that NFT Terminal will never require a private key nor ask for your seed phrase. Our bot merely confirms your NFT holdings. That’s it.

Currently, holders can verify their collection through MetaMask and WalletConnect.

Connect your wallet and select ‘Sign.’ Please note that signing does not trigger a blockchain transaction. We only ask that you sign into your wallet and our bot will verify your NFT holdings. Once the verification process is complete, check your Discord profile in your server to see your role.

Console Services

In the coming weeks, our development team will be working to add more updates to ‘Verify’ to make it more robust. In addition, our Discord bot also offers the ability for NFT creators to track mint events, provide OpenSea data, and allow NFT holders to check rarity data. We’ll be working internally to add more features and fine-tune NFT Terminal (https://nft-terminal.com). We’ll also be posting weekly rankings via Twitter and may have an NFT giveaway soon, so stay tuned!
