Overview

A fashion brand NFT project led by Blvck Paris, an established global lifestyle fashion brand founded in 2017 by French designer, Julian O’hayon

Julian is endorsed and supported by an engaged community with millions of social media followers and customers worldwide.

Story

Blvck was founded in 2017 with a vision to paint the world black, trying to send the message of “Blacked out everything”. BLVCK developed a strong narrative and even stronger brand recognition. Julian gained a reputation for being able to build the brand to where it is now with minimal resourcing until the wider structuring of his current team.

 

BLVCK has amassed over a million dollars in revenue in 2018-2019 alone.

Last year (2021) they hit another milestone of opening 10 stores worldwide as well as widening their product offering to include home and lifestyle products. This track record speaks volumes about their ability as entrepreneurs and the product demand for the label. The right integration of their brand into the NFT space could easily mirror the reception they've already had in the retail scene.

Philosophy

BLVCK's art reflects what they stand for. “the darker, the rarer''. 

Despite this being a genesis collection Blvck is no stranger to the digital art scene, they’ve sold on marketplace and some of those NFTs have sold for a price of 5ETH and above. These NFTs consisted of images in motion with sound, which add a different dynamic to how we see NFTs today.

Although there are other projects with similar, or rather more intricate, and better character designs, none of them can provide the value or potential at the level of Blvck Paris. This is a brand elevated by its foray into the NFT space, that isn't just launching a project first and then building a brand out of it - like many NFT projects are aspiring to do.

Blvck Paris has already well established its brand, its design language, and its identity in the Web2 world and now it is bringing that strength into the Web3 space.

In summary, the artwork looks great, but like all art, it's highly subjective.

As a lifestyle brand, with high-end 3D avatars, aesthetics and designs, our vision is to develop our own Blvckverse, continuously employing a team of experts and utilizing the work of in-house developers, 3D artists, creating our own Metaverse, but in Blvck.

Community

BLVCK's community is large, very large. With over 230k followers on Twitter and over 130K Discord members, the community is growing week over week. With Instagram having over 1.2M followers - gaining traction has never been an issue.

Like Apple, or Nike, every brand has its niche and its loyal customers, BLVCK represents the same appeal and you can tell by its somewhat organic approach. By conducting member-only games, contests, and events it has curated a community that is built on the same fundamentals as its Web2 brand, in the Web3 space.

What’s next?

Blvck Paris had a successful launch and it’s bound to enjoy a long trip in Web3 world. Here is why.

The art is fantastic, this is subjective but I’m sure that’s not the main reason.

They partnered with Hora Games weeks before the launch. Hora Games is one of the first P2E companies that successfully launched a project on Google Play & App Store in 2019, and have over 700k+ downloads on both platforms.

To add on top of this, Blvck Paris collab with some of the biggest NFT influencers in the space(Takoa, Randy, AbsoluteSalt etc), with a combined following of over 1 million.


In today’s NFT market, any projects with a supply of 10k and a high mint price would struggle, but not in the case of Blvck.

Blvck has the team, has the art, has the community, has the support, has the collabs. Who said a project couldn’t have them all?

And most importantly, they have the vision to bring success not only to their brand, but to their holders as well.
