Bibliotheca Dao is a decentralized autonomous organization which is active in the Lootverse. They are committed to creating an open-source MMOCCG (Massively Multiplayer On-Chain Composable Game) of Economics and Chivalry built on top of ZK-STARKS (StarkNet) - Settling of the Realms, attracting developers and players to combine various of Loot Derivative projects. $LORDS is the utility token of the project.
On August 27, 2021, Loot set off a wave of text NFT craze in the cryptocurrency circle. 8,000 NFTs were snapped up within 4 hours. The simple 8 lines of text left the community with great room for imagination. Developers have flocked to unleash their imagination in this new ecosystem. Since then, the Lootverse has flourished, with at least 100 Loot spinoffs to date.
After the Loot became popular, various derivative projects emerged, including Bibliotheca. They built a platform to graphically display the Loot derivatives. Shortly after the platform went online, Bibliotheca partnered with Realms and joined the Realms project.
To attract more users to participate in the project, economic incentives are always the most effective way. The project took advantage of Loot’s popularity and established its own community. Loot holders can pay 0.03E to mint Realms while non-holders pay 0.1E. After mint, the realms team set out to build a game and encouraged holders to stake their realms. Each staked realm generates $LORDS and will eventually generate resources for use in the realms settling game (see below).
Initially, Realms was built on Arbitrum's testnet Rinkeby, and was later migrated to Starknet, which is now completed. As for the reason for transferring to Starknet, the project team believes that a complete web3 on-chain world needs three points of support, low cost, simple calculation, and composability. To meet those points, ZK Rollup is the only option; Arbitrum's gas fees and 7-day waiting period are not ideal solutions for us, maybe it will get cheaper in the future, but it's hard to live up to our expectations right now.
BibliothecaDAO aims to create a composable, economically driven, permissionless ecosystem that allows millions of builders and players to interact in it.
Adventurers, land, resources, equipment and many other elements constitute the current entire game ecology, but in Bibliotheca's blueprint, they can integrate far more than that. They have invested in an architecture that allows many Lootverse projects to interact with each other in the Realmverse. Similar to DnD, it is not just a game, but a whole set of game systems, striving to create a complete, complex and dynamically balanced world.
The world map, called ‘Atlas,’ contains two types of land assets, Realms and Crypts and Caverns (C&C). Realms has a total of 8,000 blocks, mainly distributed in the dark area on the edge of the map below; C&C has a total of 9,000 blocks, mainly distributed in the light-colored inland part. As can be seen from the close-up map, the watchtower 🏯 icon represents Realms, and the skull ☠️ icon represents C&C.
In addition to Realms and C&C, we can also view the distribution of Loot, Genesis Adventurers, Resources, and Orders on this website (according to official news, Anima is also going to interact with Realms, not shown yet).
In the above mind map, the left side is the Realms cooperation project and the assets in the Realms ecosystem, and the right side is the initial resource allocation and quantity of each Realms block. Next, we will introduce these projects respectively.
Loot is an equipment bag for adventurers in unknown lands and Realms are these lands. Similar to Loot, the rarity of each land in Realms is also different, including regions, cities, rivers and ports, etc., which can be checked on the official website. The lords of the land wage war, forge alliances and acquire resources through the on-chain raid and loot game Settling.
Settling gameplay is sophisticated and complex, and every single move can affect the future development of the league.
Each person can claim a character on Starknet for free. This character is an upgradeable and combinable ERC721 token. You can also equip the character with Loot or Genesis Adventure equipment, define race and gender, and all these information will be permanently on the chain.
At the beginning of the creation, each Realms was configured with certain basic resources, including $LORDS, food, culture, industry, army, and population, etc. Your choice will have a direct impact on resource productivity. Each piece of land will also produce 100 Unit resources per day. Resource rarity is different and 22 kinds in total, there is "wood" with relatively low rarity, and there is also extremely rare "dragonhide", each resource has its own unique purpose. 75% of resource can be used immediately while 25% will be kept in the vault, and part of the Wonder Tax will be paid for the maintenance of Wonder. Wonder is the most mysterious building in each field, there are only 50 copies in the world, and no one knows who built them.
There are 16 Orders in the entire Atlas (as the picture below). Tribes can assemble armies to attack each other and plunder resources. The victor can get 50% of the treasury of the defeated. In order to protect and expand their own territory, lords can lead their armies to fight against others, and each army is equipped with 25 soldiers. Different skill values (flexibility, aggression, defense value, vitality, intelligence) determine who can win the battle.
The above is the entire story of Realms, and then let's take a look at its market and community performance.
As a Loot derivative, the floor price of Realms has approached OG Loot, and the staking rate is as high as 89%, indicating that the community has a high degree of recognition of its value, and there are many diamond hands, thus the community has a long-term optimistic attitude towards it.
The Realms community is very active and willing to contribute to the project voluntarily. For example, the descriptions of many resources come from the community, and some members give the map a rich narrative based on the different landform features of Realms. The background makes the whole ecology more colorful.
In addition, Realms' new tower defense mini-game design is in progress. This is a small on-chain PvP game. In the game settings, the dark and the light side are fighting over the realms territory. Both sides need to hold $LORDS to participate in the battle, each round lasts approximately 36 hours, and the victorious side will be rewarded on Starknet.
Realms has the concept of a map. C&C will start with staking dungeons but will also introduce an entire game focused around owning a dungeon. Genesis Adventure provides characters, and Anima is a spell skill. Next, we will introduce a few other interesting aspects of the project.
Crypts and Caverns was created by @threepwave when Loot was first released. It is the first external module (Loot derivative) to be integrated into Realms. C&C and Realms and Lootverse can have a good integration. There are 9000 dungeon maps in total, 223 of which will be used for promotion and contribution incentives.
C&C is an on-chain Lego in the Loot ecosystem. Each map is random, and each attribute of the map has a certain probability. For example, dungeons are 70% likely to be "room-based" type dungeons (designed as square rooms connected by corridors) and 30% likely to be "cave-based" dungeons (designed to travel through caves).
No any two maps are identical. The data in each map is carefully optimized for smooth use in the Realmverse, supporting text, 2D, and 3D. Developers, designers, and artists can all call the contract directly, integrating their own mechanics and designs on it.
Crypts and Caverns works with Realms but could also work with other games both inside and outside the lootverse. Holders will stake their dungeons and will earn tokens from each of the games that integrate Crypts and Caverns. The project has a CC-0 license and is open source so it is very extensible.
Crypts and Caverns contains a total of 6 environments, which are distinguished by color:
Anima's founding team, Observatorium, and Bibliotheca DAO overlap, and there is a lot of support and interaction between the two projects. For example, if Realms holders have pledged, they will get a 66% fee reduction when they mint Anima. Anima's game architecture is deeply coupled with Realms, and etc.
Throughout the whole Lootverse, GA is considered a valuable and popular character. Genesis Adventurers are conjured from the oldest loot bags. As a veteran project building an ecosystem with OG Loot, GA has been integrated in many Lootverse projects, including Realms.
On March 11th, a graphic display of Loot and Genesis Adventurers was added to Atlas. Enter the NFT serial number you have and you can FLY directly to your NFT.
In order to reward OG, the project team launched the "Journey" activity, pledge Realms to get $LORD income, and generate any one of 22 resources, each of which is an ERC-1155 token, which can be traded in the market. The entire Journey lasts for 15 cycles, each cycle lasts 7 days. Only by staking a full cycle can the cycle income be obtained. The first 10 cycle income is 625 $LORDS for each Realm pledged for a full cycle, and the last 5 cycles The income is 350/312.5 $LORDS for each Realm pledged for a full cycle. The main differences are as follows:
Once the pledge starts, you will continue to pledge for subsequent cycles by default. During the pledge period, your Realms can not be displayed nor sold on Opensea.
The first phase of the liquidity pool activity is from 2022/1/28-3.28. During the activity, 10,000 $LORDS will be given out as a reward each day. As long as you provide liquidity within the specified interval, you can get the incentive.
From ICO to airdrop, Bibliotheca Dao believes that the best way is fair-launch, but there is a problem that If there is no continuous output and update at the product level, there will be inflation. From the protocol level, sustainable value delivery is required. . To solve this problem, more holders, or users who can use the token efficiently, will be needed.
In order to make the Token circulate, Bibliotheca Dao designed 3 points in the game:
Realms broke out at the same time as the Loot ecosystem last year. After building a community with this wave of popularity, several founders led the creation of other projects respectively, which have a high level of correlation. Resources may have different values in other projects. In addition to these "family projects", the team is still actively cooperating with the outside world, introducing OG Loot and GA into its own ecology, and many characters play a specific role in the entire ecology. It has its own positioning and forms a closely related and dynamically balanced on-chain world.
DYOR!
