HyperFy, By and By ⚡
The WIP Hyperfy parcel is where we kicked things off this week. It’s an awesome little plot decked out with the coolest virtual assets and environments every week. 🤖
The plug-and-play features make it a great environment for getting started in the metaverse. 👣
WIP has no formal affiliation with HyperFy, by the way – we evangelize any metaverse and digital asset things we find genuinely cool, engaging, and… relatively easy to build with. ⚒️
HyperFy ticks all those boxes for a rowdy bunch of virtual world hoppers like the WIP fam. 🌐
Fly in the Frogs! ✈️
One of the most exciting aspects of being a part of the WIP is getting a glimpse into the history and lore that has evolved around the community and experience. 🧙
This community has touched some of the industry's most well-respected, deeply networked, high-fidelity projects. 💎
Fly Frogs falls firmly within that category, with dedicated work from the team resulting in quality-of-life updates and new experiences and features that keep things fun, lighthearted, and genuine. ⭐
The project’s founder gave the WIP community an overview of what these reptilians are all about and how you can customize your froggy friends! 🦎
The FlyFrogs collection currently lives on OpenSea and is still super accessible compared to some of the trending collections of the day. The collection lives on Ethereum and Polygon, helping keep the frog-based interactions affordable and accessible. 🛍️
Which is important – FlyFrogs is much more interactive than your typical collation – use flies to breed your FlyFrogs and produce tadpoles! These cute little offspring have tons of unique traits and features that change depending on their parents. 👶
Is one of your tadpoles looking a bit… weird? No worries! You can use water lilies and dragonflies to customize your tadpoles – a good dinner can make a difference. 🍽️
These awesome features didn’t all come at once – founder Josh has been at it for over 2.5 years, and WIP fam member and co-founder Rizzle is on the roster of OG FlyFrog contributors. Awesome ecosystems and communities aren’t built in a day – they take time. 🕠
And the awesome folks at FlyFrogs have certainly been using their time wisely… my tadpoles look cool. 🐸
Jumping to Nifty Island 🏝️
With the crew still feeling froggy, we jetted over to one of the latest environments to make a buzz in the metaverse: Nifty Island! 🌞
This modular, easily-to-build-in environment has the Fortnite feel that gamers know and love, coupled with the on-chain aspects needed to qualify as a metaverse. 🧩
WIP fam member Metageist has been building hard in this environment and invited the group to test out his awesome new jump course environment, where we competed to race to the finish. 🏃
And man, is this experience sleek! We’re entering an era where metaverses feel more like a traditional game than an experimental environment. Welcome to the neon future. 😎
It got pretty crowded on some of the platforms – with over 20 avatars hopping around, it’s safe to say that the WIP regularly pushes virtual worlds to their limit. Shout out to Metageist and Nifty Island for holding up so well, as we all zipped around like flies avoiding FlyFrog tongues. 😜

Seriously, it’s a wonder that after 5+ years, the WIP remains one of the best-kept hidden gems in the metaverse landscape. 🔍
