This week’s WIP was jam-packed with games, giggles, and ghosts as we kicked it with Aavegotchi OG Thrax, who gave us some insight on the latest and greatest of the project. 👻We even got to test out some new minigames, where we pulled no punches and… sort of defended the objective. 🙈

Hyped for HyperFy 🏠
As you may or may not know, the WIP Hyperfy parcel is our proverbial Hall of Justice, where the WIP converges every Thursday to kick off the shenanigans for that week. 🦸
The parcel is always decked out with the coolest, most relevant assets to the meetup – some credit is overdue to the amazing folks who make this happen week in and week out:
I totally missed some folks who I know and love, but I’m not sure if they handle the HyperFy asset shuffle each week or primarily keep other plates spinning. 🍽️
That decentralized “everyone having fun, so we’re close enough to perfect” is sort of the WIP calling card – life is stressful enough, so come hang out and jam with us. ✌️

It’s super encouraging to see passionate teams and projects that the WIP has supported over the year not just surviving but thriving during the crypto winter! 🔥
Naturally, the WIP had to kick the tires where we could, so it was all-hands-in-portal as we warped over to the Gotchi Guardians minigame! 🌌
Gotchi Guardians 🛡️
If you love tower defense games, you’re ahead of the curve for this one. 🗼
Place your structures and strengthen your warriors as you fight back wave after wave of spooky yet adorable mobs who share the singular goal of making it through. 🏃
The upgradability is one of my favorite aspects of the game – it gives the experience a more in-depth, customizable feel, sort of like League of Legends. 🤺
And with that comparison, I can already hear laughter about my lack of gaming skills. 😆

Spirit Force Arena 💥
Battle Royale-style games are all the rage these days, and Spirit Force Arena gives the Aavegotchi community a chance to join in on the action with their avatars. ⚔️
Fire away at other avatars to secure the top spot…just remember to aim first! 🔫
Oh, and those War of the World robots you see in the bottom right will lick you to death, so… watch out for that. 👁️👅👁️
That uncomfortably awkward emoji is a payback to some of the WIP's top-tier gamers. 😝
