Bounty 1: A credit line for every wallet

Category: Feature Usage

Today, each wallet functions as a debit card. We envision a credit line for every wallet so people can borrow or spend as needed, similar to a credit card in real life. The development of account abstraction makes it easier to turn this vision into reality.

Showcase the power of account abstraction wallet and Huma Protocol by having a credit line for every wallet. It is critical for successful projects to demonstrate mechanisms that will ensure seamless payback of the debt, and drive accountability. You can use mechanisms like social vouching or staking, DIDs and on-chain reputation systems, shared custody of assets, and any other wild ideas you may have.

Amount: $10,000

$7,500 - Best Overall

$2,500 - Runner up

We reserve the right to withhold in cases where low-quality submissions do not meet our bounty requirements.

Resources

Criteria

  • WOW effect and creativity matter the most

  • A prototype that works (credit line for each wallet, sound mechanism to minimize default)

  • Use Huma protocol (lending contracts, DSP, EA)

  • [Bonus] Build with account abstraction wallet

  • [Bonus] The solution is implemented with a privacy-preserving design

Bounty 2: Enable Huma with a new payment network or payroll provider

Category: Feature Usage

Huma launched the first on-chain factoring solution with Request Network and Superfluid so that the invoice or streamed payment receivers get paid now instead of waiting for a long time. This enables people and businesses to access their future income whenever they need it.

Integrate with an on-chain or off-chain payment network or a payroll provider to enable Huma’s factoring capability for these platforms.

A typical demo should demonstrate at least 2 of the following functions :

  1. Tokenization of future payment

  2. Extension of Huma ReceivableFactoringPool contract to suit your needs

  3. A decision module on the eligibility of payments for factoring (Huma Evaluation Agent preferred, other solutions acceptable if Python is not your thing)

  4. An end-user experience

Amount: $5,000

We reserve the right to withhold in cases where low-quality submissions do not meet our bounty requirements.

Resources

Criteria

  • Prototype that demonstrates the end-to-end flow

  • Tokenize the payment stream and have a decent design for credit risk management

  • Use Huma protocol

Bounty 3: Launch a real-world lending use case on Huma

Category: Early Stage Startup

Description

Huma Protocol is designed in such a way that real-world lending fintechs can launch their business on Huma, operating as a pool owner. This bounty is designed for projects to showcase this capability. A typical demo should include:

  1. Selection of the right pool type (CreditLinePool vs. ReceivableFactoringPool)

  2. Deployment and configuration of the lending pool and FeeManager to support the use case

  3. A simple underwriting decision engine (Huma Evaluation Agent framework preferred, not required)

  4. A Dapp that showcases the user interactions

If the winning project team decides to launch this lending business and leverage DeFi, Huma will help the team source initial liquidity for their pool.

Amount: $5,000

  • Winner $2,500

  • Additional $2,500 Bonus for exceptional results

We reserve the right to withhold in cases where low-quality submissions do not meet our bounty requirements.

Resources

Criteria

  • A prototype that demonstrates the end-to-end flow

  • Use Huma protocol

Bounty 4: Build new signal adapters

Category: Meaningful Open Source Contribution

Description

Huma Decentralized Signal Portfolio is an open platform that enables access to high-quality signals about a borrower's income, assets, liabilities, and creditworthiness. These signals are collected through Signal Adapters hosted on the DSP, which can access data from a variety of on-chain and off-chain sources. Any developer can contribute to the platform by adding a new Signal Adapter for a specific data source. Adding and improving these signals improves the quality of underwriting across the ecosystem.

The winning teams should create new Signal Adapters that can retrieve useful data to improve the underwriting quality.

Below are some sample ideas. You can go beyond this list:

  • On-chain Signals

    • Wallet Transactions

    • Online Payments (RequestNetwork, Coinshift, UtopiaLabs, Sablier, etc)

    • Payroll/DAO

    • NFT Royalty

    • Staking Income (solo, or pooled)

    • Yield Farming

    • Trading

    • DID and Credentials

  • Off-chain

    • Off-chain Payment API integration (Plaid, Stripe, Bill.com, Recurly, etc)

    • Real-world assets (Real estate MLS record, etc)

Not an engineer but a data magician? No problem! We have a special reward for the teams that submit the best research paper on how can we use data to determine a wallet’s creditworthiness or identify suspicious transactions.

Amount: $3,500

  • Best overall: $1,500

  • Runner up: $1,000

  • Best research paper: $1,000

We reserve the right to withhold in cases where low-quality submissions do not meet our bounty requirements.

Resources

Criteria

  • (for Signal Adapter) Prototype that works

  • (for Research Paper) Reproducible data analysis shows impactful insight

  • Technical soundness of the adapter

  • Conforming to Huma DSP/EA standards

  • The potential impact of the adapter
