🦚 ONEIRIC ARCHITECTS - THE VISION

My main goals when I create are to do something meaningful, make people feel something, and form beauty through my vision.

I also like to tell a singular story, that will in turn create a thousand when interpreted by the perceptions of those compelled to watch.

Step into a realm of enchantment and explore the captivating world of "Oneiric Architects," a mesmerizing photography collection set within the extraordinary La Casa dels Cecs.

Inspired by the innocence of childhood discovery and its magical sense of wonder, this collection aims to transport viewers into a realm where dreams merge with reality.

Our physical, man-made world is more and more prone to utilitarianism, uniformity, and a lack of boldness and ambition, but most importantly, the inability to make us dream.

This NFT collection is a souvenir that there might be an alternative, maybe something better for those of us that still like to live intentionally and to be inspired.

¿Remember how you felt as a child? ¿The uniqueness of every new environment you stepped on? ¿Maybe the smell of a plant that still transports you to that sensation of innocence and fulfillment?

My greatest ambition would be for you to feel something like that when contemplating this collection.

"Oneiric Architects" beckons visitors to lose themselves in the labyrinthine corridors, secret chambers, and whimsical corners of La Casa dels Cecs.

As you journey through the collection, you will experience the joy of discovery, the thrill of the unknown, and the profound sense of wonder that accompanies every step.

👨‍🎨 Xavier Corberó

Was a renowned Catalan artist and sculptor known for his unique architectural creations. He was born on November 5, 1935, in Barcelona, and passed away on April 10, 2017. Corberó's work was characterized by his avant-garde approach and his ability to blend art and architecture seamlessly.

One of Xavier Corberó's most famous projects is "La Casa dels Cecs" (House of the Blind), also known as "The Labyrinth." It is a remarkable labyrinthine structure located in Esplugues de Llobregat, a municipality near Barcelona. Corberó began working on the house in 1973, and it took him over 40 years to complete.

📐 "La Casa dels Cecs" is a vast architectural complex

composed of a series of interconnected buildings, rooms, corridors, and courtyards, all meticulously designed by Corberó himself. The labyrinth-like layout of the house creates an immersive and captivating experience for visitors. Its irregular shapes, twisting pathways, and hidden corners make it feel like a never-ending journey through an architectural wonderland.

The house showcases Corberó's mastery in blending various architectural styles, ranging from medieval and Renaissance influences to modernist and contemporary elements. The use of raw materials like stone, brick, and concrete adds to the organic and timeless feel of the structure. The interior spaces are equally diverse, featuring vaulted ceilings, arched doorways, and expansive open areas.

🪨 The sculptures that populate "La Casa dels Cecs"

Are an integral part of Xavier Corberó's artistic vision and contribute to the overall immersive experience of the architectural complex. Corberó himself created a multitude of sculptures that are scattered throughout the different spaces of the house. Some are made of stone or concrete, while others incorporate metals, wood, or found objects.

These not only serve as aesthetic elements but also contribute to the overall sensory experience of "La Casa dels Cecs." They interact with the play of light and shadow, the textures of the materials used, and the surrounding soundscape, creating a multisensory environment that engages visitors on multiple levels.
