This scan all applications that work in the background.
It also check programs signatures. You can check, If you have any doubt, with their antivirus service.
After uninstalling a program, there may be active services and you can deactivate them.
Now let's find good web browsers, respectful of your privacy.
I use 3 web browsers. In 2, i enter my various login.
The last one allows me to do my research.
These is my free choices, make your own to find your balance.
Sometimes brave works badly with certain site, so I use Firefox.
To increase anonymity you must leave Mullvad by Default.
Search engines and website recoveries public data not important (as screen resolution, theme of the Browser, Extension Install etc ...), but if you personalize them you become unique.
So a way to be anonymous is to look like everyone.
Search engines are important to find website. But at what cost ?
I use Brave Search on Brave and Firefox. On Mullvad, I leave by Default.
There is no perfect solution, but a mix, I think the best approach.
You are the only master of your choices.
It takes a little effort to set up the different tools and find your operating routine, after that its goes easy.
