Here’s what to do;

1. Visit https://v4.testnet.dydx.exchange/#/trade/ETH-USD and connect wallet on the Goerli Test Network. Accept the terms and sign in the wallet.

2. Deposit Test Tokens:

Begin by depositing test tokens to actively participate in the testnet. Click on "Deposit Funds" to receive test tokens.

3. Save the Seed Phrase:

Ensure the security of the wallet by securely saving the seed phrase. The seed phrase acts as a backup and allows for wallet restoration. Click on the address at the top right and select "Export Seed Phrase". Save the wallet address too, this will be necessary when providing feedback.

4. Open the "Portfolio" tab to confirm that test tokens have been received.

5. Now return to the "Trade" tab and open positions for available pairs with the available order types.

Limit Order:

Select the token pair and set the order type as "Limit". Choose the trade direction and input a price to open the position. Input the amount (in ETH or USD) and click "Place Limit Order".

Market Order:

Select the "Market" order type, select the trade direction, and enter the desired amount to execute market orders. Initiate the trade by clicking "Place Market Order" to swiftly enter the market.

Stop Order:

This order type is not yet available for testing on the platform.

6. Close Positions:

To close a position, locate the "Close Position" option and enter the position size to be closed. Efficiently manage your trades by utilizing this feature.

7. Order Cancellation:

To cancel an order, navigate to the "Orders" section, where unfilled orders are displayed. Select the specific order to cancel and choose "Cancel" to remove the order.
