Catalyst Exchange: New Interaction on Scroll Testnet
July 4th, 2023

Catalyst Exchange is an open and decentralized automated market maker (AMM) designed for the future of modular systems. Catalyst's main goal is to establish a seamless economic trading platform that enables users to exchange assets across various blockchain networks.

After successfully securing a funding of $4.2 million from notable investors such as Circle, Spartan, Alchemy, Hashkey, and others, the project recently introduced a demo testnet supporting the Scroll network. This presents a favorable opportunity to enhance transaction volume on the network, potentially leading to an airdrop as the Scroll Mainnet is scheduled for an early August launch this year.

To get test tokens, request GoerliETH from https://goerlifaucet.com/ and bridge to Scroll via https://scroll.io/bridge.

Bridge from Scroll to other chains. Visit https://demo.catalyst.exchange/ and connect wallet. Click on “select” to choose the sending/receiving chains and tokens.

Select Scroll as the source chain and ETH as the token.

Select any desired chain as the receiving chain and input the ETH amount, then click “Swap”.

Sign the transaction in the wallet and wait for the swap to be completed. After completion, return to the swap page by clicking the “X” at the top right corner.

Bridge from other chains to Scroll. Next, select the sending chain and confirm to change the network in the wallet.

Input an amount and swap.

Repeat the swaps from Scroll to the available networks and back.

Conclusion:

Looking ahead, Catalyst Exchange plans to introduce additional features like deposit and withdrawal, include more blockchain networks, open-source the smart contracts, and launch the official testnet.
