Sisu Network — the new crosschain

Increasingly in the Crypto space, only projects that offer unique and practical use cases survive. One such project — the Sisu Network — stands out. In the currently fragmented Blockchain world, Sisu is a decentralized and trustless protocol that enables seamless cross-chain transactions between various blockchains, allowing native & NFT tokens swapping or remote contract execution for a more seamless blockchain experience. It supports any type of layer 1, 2, or sidechain transaction, including token swaps and smart contract functions. Although token swaps are a primary focus for Sisu at present, the aim is to expand its capabilities to solve more general cross-chain communication issues, such as confidential transactions and smart contract interactions. Sisu uses the Swap protocol to support cross-chain transactions, allowing users to exchange coins between different chains. For instance, you could transfer Bitcoin to an Ethereum address or vice versa.

With the rise of newer blockchains like Solana and Avalanche, there is a growing demand for asset transfers between various chains. Previously, Ethereum 1.0 dominated the market for smart contract execution, but other blockchains have since gained market share by offering faster and more scalable solutions for users. Now, the crypto world is moving towards a multi-chain paradigm, where no single blockchain dominates. Sisu’s solution to this is to provide a protocol for cross-chain transactions.

Sisu deploys gateway smart contracts that record cross-chain transactions. Users send requests to these contracts, which are recorded and maintained by the Sisu protocol. Each transaction must be recorded by ⅔ of the Sisu network and signed by 80% of the super validators before it can be considered final.

Sisu’s use of distributed key signing algorithms makes cross-chain transactions secure and protects against hackers who could potentially steal funds. Additionally, Sisu’s decentralization allows for other teams to build non-custodial asset trading apps that don’t require KYC processes, making the verification process easier for end users who want to trade tokens or participate in yield farming.

Sisu prioritizes privacy and security for its users, and it supports private and secure transactions. The platform also provides small add-on features that allow users to keep their transaction history private while still securing the chain. Sisu’s shielded cross-chain transfers ensure that both the sender and receiver remain anonymous during the transfer.
