Only Six Days Left to Claim Your Book Launch Poster

Long-time followers of mine know that I’ve been writing for the Web since the 1990s. And I was a writer a long time before that, before there was even a Web. For that reason, I don’t call myself a Web3 writer even though I have begun exploring Web3 writing and publishing tools.

The truth is, I’m a writer, and one that uses Web3 tools. Much of what I’ve learned so far can be attributed to Greg Younger, the Write3 Guy.

That includes Mirror’s Subscribe-to-Mint function. I learned about it in Greg’s 30-Day Mirror Challenge, which is taking place this month. The challenge consists of creating a Mirror mint with a utilitarian offer. My mint consists of utilizing Mirror to distribute a token that acts as a gateway to a Paragraph book-length nonfiction manuscript titled Diamonds and Pearls: The History of the Top 10 Cryptocurrencies.

In this book, I go through the history of cryptocurrencies, from the launch of bitcoin in 2009 through today, to show which cryptocurrencies have risen to the top and stuck around, fallen out of favor, or disappear altogether.

Among the top 10 cryptocurrencies each year since 2009, I’ve identified three categories:

  • Diamonds

  • Pearls

  • Pebbles

Diamonds are those cryptocurrencies that entered the top 10 and stayed there. Pearls are those cryptocurrencies that entered the top 10 but fell out after a period of time despite showing signs of great promise or meeting certain technical and fundamental strengths. Pebbles are those that rose into the top ranks of the cryptocurrencies but, for any number of reasons, dropped completely out of sight.

In my own stylistic prose, infusing the discussion with humor and deep insights, I will take 5 lucky minters on a ride through the history of the top crypto projects since a mysterious, shadowy figure changed history with the first viable electronic peer-to-peer cash system. Before we get there, however, five lucky minters can get the book launch announcement poster for free (plus Optimism gas fees).

There are only 2 mints left.

Don’t delay. Claim your poster now. Just six days left to stake your claim. When you do, you’ll be one of the first people on the planet to be notified of the book launch on May 22.
