Final Curtain!

What an extraordinary journey it's been, hosting this exceptional Hacker House in Paris, in conjunction with EthCC 2023, made possible through our collaboration with Hashkey Capital! From July 15th to 24th, 2023, we had the distinct pleasure of providing a creative space for 11 exceptional hackers. This assembly facilitated a fertile ground for collaboration, creation, learning, and an overall joyous experience, while also granting everyone the opportunity to participate in EthCC and explore the charm of Paris.

Each evening, we had the privilege to welcome new teams or individuals renowned in the Zero-Knowledge Machine Learning (ZKML) sector. This vibrant exchange proved to be an intellectually rewarding experience, imparting to us a wealth of insights about the exciting ZKML realm.

In a captivating opening night, the EthCC 2023 Hacker House delved into the world of privacy preservation in Blockchain with a special focus on ZKML (Zero-Knowledge Machine Learning) powered by Ocean Protocol. The atmosphere was electric as participants eagerly absorbed insights from leading experts in the field. The session illuminated the groundbreaking potential of ZKML in safeguarding sensitive data while enabling machine learning advancements on the Ethereum network. With this foundation laid, our hackers are poised to embark on a week-long journey of discovery, innovation, and collaboration. What an absolute delight to reunite with our esteemed mentor, Jason Morton, the brilliant mind behind EZKL, for yet another captivating presentation at the Hacker House! His expertise and passion shone through as he delved into the intricacies of the EZKL library, leaving us all inspired and hungry for more knowledge.

Indeed, our EthCC 2023 Hacker House was graced with the presence of exceptional mentors, each representing extraordinary teams like PSE, Taiko, SevenX, Hyper Oracle, Modulus Labs, Giza, Worldcoin, Aztec, QED Protocol, and a host of other remarkable participants. The diversity of expertise and ideas brought to the table was awe-inspiring, and the synergy between mentors and teams sparked an atmosphere of creativity and collaboration.

Throughout the event, knowledge flowed freely, and we all gleaned invaluable insights from these experienced mentors, enriching our understanding of cutting-edge technologies and blockchain advancements. What an exhilarating experience it was to embark on the super boat tour, where we not only savored the beauty of Paris, its iconic monuments, and captivating architecture but also had the privilege to meet an exceptional gathering of hackers and witness groundbreaking projects that are revolutionizing the blockchain space.

As we sailed along the scenic waters, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement and camaraderie. Engaging conversations and inspiring discussions flowed freely, providing a platform for brilliant minds to connect, share ideas, and forge lasting bonds.

The boat tour served as a microcosm of the wider blockchain community, showcasing the diversity of talent and innovation that drives this cutting-edge technology forward. From decentralized finance (DeFi) pioneers to privacy-preserving solutions and visionary scalability projects, the spectrum of ideas and advancements on display left us in awe.

After the enthralling boat tour, the excitement continued with an action-packed football match that brought us all together for a thrilling bout of friendly competition. Laughter and cheers echoed through the air as hackers and participants, united by their passion for blockchain and technology, showcased their skills on the field.

The football match served as a perfect platform to unwind and foster camaraderie beyond the confines of coding and development. It was a moment to celebrate the diverse talents of our community, both on and off the computer screen.

We had incredible projects built during the Hacker House! Look at this 👇

NOYA executes advanced defi strategies using AI and ZKML. These strategies include yield aggregation, liquidity provisioning, and leveraging yield bearing assets.

We use AI to predict yields across multiple chains, protocols, and assets. We then use ZKML for trustless execution. Liquidity only moves after a proof of the output of the model has been verified onchain.

Some of our achievements until now:

• We have been able to SNARK 20 million parameter models and looking to SNARK 100 million parameter models by the end of the year. 🧑‍💻

• We have won ZKday out of 100s of applicants. 🏆

• We have 6k members on our whitelist. 📖

• Our testnet is live and functioning. 🌐

Sapien is building an on-chain and cross-chain identity layer using ZKML and biometrics.

Private voting protocol that utilizes homomorphic encryption to battle the Bandwagon effect. Built on top of Mina protocol.

We want to build the first True DAO. Were the code is law, and yet there exists a private state that only the DAO members can access, such as proposals, passwords to internal accounts, etc. This solution does not require DAO members to maintain and share ad-hock public/private key, but rather depends on the integrity of the Zama MPC computatoins.

As part of the project, we demonstrate:

• DAO can have private membership Only DAO members know who is a member of a DAO.

• DAO can create private proposal, content of which is only accessable to DAO members.

• DAOs can share private credentials, like software access keys, only accessible to current DAO members.

Additionally, we build a quick prototype of private voting system, that is powering decisions in the DAO.

We presented ‘Bob the Solver’ which is an Infrastructure for Intent-based transactions for better UX of wallets and dapps.

We allow developers and administrators to take back control of their data and their user base by launching customized on-chain data streams and setting up if, then workflows for on-chain actions that will allow them to always stay 1 step ahead.
