💡 Bounties / Hack Ideas

The ideas below are in no particular order; we’d love to see all of them built 😇 and also invite you to spin off something on your own.

Fixed rates arbitrage

  • Help users find discounted principal tokens that they can redeem in a certain amount of time
  • Example: buy PT DAI at 0.8, hold and sell at expiry for 1 DAI

Fixed-rate compounding

  • Help users sell FYT into the same base asset to get leverage
  • Example: get more exposure to AAVE with leverage on stkAAVE

Using FYT or PT as collateral

  • Integrate PT/FYT into another protocol to be used as collateral
  • Detail how this would work and how you’d keep users safe

Yield strategies

  • Automate yield strategies via bots, vaults, or other DeFi protocols
  • Example: write a Yearn strategy that utilizes APWine

Market analysis

  • Present all the upcoming opportunities from APwine that may be profitable to trade
  • Example: show when a PT is trading at a discount

Custom interface for APWine protocol

  • Abstract away some of the details and make an alternate interface with a singular focus
  • Example 1: Help users buy an asset on Uniswap that auto leverages via fixed rate compounding
  • Example 2: You could combine the Aave interface with APWine interface, so users could get a fixed rate (or view fixed rates next to the floating rate) when depositing

Interest rate swaps marketplace

  • Create a marketplace where users can swap FYTs to interest rates
  • Present historical information of interest rates on supported platforms to help users decide which interest rate they’d speculate on

Surprise us!

  • Build something that utilizes APWine protocol in some way; the crazier, the better!

🏆 Prizes

Now the sweetest part! The total prize pool consists of $10,000 and will be paid out in $APW tokens. Prizes will be awarded based on:

  • Novelty and innovation of hack
  • Level of integration with APWine protocol
  • Completeness of hack (i.e. is it usable)

🥇 1x Wine Connoisseur - $5000 in APW

🥈 2x Wine Scholars (runner up prizes) = $2,500 in APW (each)

Hackathon Expectations

  • Your project should be usable, e.g., include a front end that interacts with any contracts that have been deployed on testnets
  • Include a short presentation going over what your hack achieves
  • If including a video, make it a maximum of 3 minutes.
  • The more thoughtful integration, the more likely it is to win a prize. It doesn’t need to be complex to have a chance to win.

Include a link to your Github source code (it can be set to the public temporarily for the duration of the hackathon)

Remember: things do not need to be perfect; this is a hackathon, after all!
