The Genesis Airdrop is a landmark initiative to reward and engage the users of the Seamless Protocol. This airdrop will distribute 400,000 SEAM tokens, marking a significant milestone in community-driven governance.

Starting from December 11th, 2023, at 8 PM UTC, eligible participants can claim their SEAM tokens for three months. To claim, visit the official airdrop page and follow the step-by-step guide below for an easy claiming process.

Remember, unclaimed tokens after this period will return to the community DAO's smart contract.

Delegating your SEAM Tokens

Continue by choosing a delegate to receive SEAM voting power.

After choosing who you’d like to delegate voting power to, click Delegate to proceed.

A few important things to note:

• Delegation does not transfer token ownership, it only grants “Voting Power” to the delegated address.

• You can delegate voting power to yourself if you’d like.

• SEAM tokens must be delegated to activate voting power. i.e. if they are just held within your wallet without any delegation, the tokens do not have voting power and therefore cannot participate in Seamless Protocol governance (i.e. proposals and voting). Even for someone wishing to vote themselves, users must delegate to their own address.

• Delegation may benefit users seeking governance participation without the continuous responsibility of direct involvement or technical expertise, much like voting to elect a local government representative who handles policy issues full-time.

• Delegate profiles displayed are individuals who have personally submitted bios/background on why they feel they should be delegated your voting power. These are individuals who are active in the governance process helping to shape the future of the protocol. Think of them as elected officials pushing laws through.

• You can now claim your SEAM tokens. Click, Claim, and approve the transaction in your wallet.

  You have now claimed your SEAM Airdrop! You can view the balance of your SEAM in your wallet by adding the token address to your wallet.
