What is Beat Culture?

Beat Culture is a diverse community of beat makers, producers, and artists. We have showcased the art of beat making with over 50 live events in the Bay Area, LA & NYC. We want to pool our resources and leverage our creative network to onboard new talent and create a series of curated instrumental hip-hop compilations in web3.

Our goal is to bring dope beats to the metaverse and web3 by curating a series of compilation NFT Beat Tapes with unique perks for collectors that also support the artists in the process.

What are Beat Tapes?

Beat Tapes is a series of curated instrumental compilation albums on the Ethereum blockchain produced by the Beat Culture community. We will be utilizing web3 tools like 0xSplits to ensure each contributor is compensated fairly and transparently. 85% of the proceeds will go to the artists, 15% will go to a multisig treasury to fund future projects, live events, and onboard more talented artists to web3.

These beat tapes will be accessible for everyone to listen to for free via traditional streaming channels but only the NFT collectors can redeem for a limited physical cassettes and receive an expanding list of token-gated benefits.

What can I do with my Beat Tape?

You can redeem the NFT for an exclusive physical beat tape (at no extra cost). This will come with a download link to the individual files and a code to add it to your Bandcamp collection. We will honor benefits redeemed for secondary sales. You can also display these music NFTs to soundtrack your own metaverse experiences and virtual art galleries.
