🧙♂️What’s Mantle Moonshot Event?
Mantle team launched Season Alpha Campaign on August 29, 2023 with a total of 20 Million $MNT reward pool and team planned to distribute the reward at the end of Season Alpha which is expected/planned to be done on January 15, 2024.
Later on, Mantle team added additional 5M $MNT reward for the Season Alpha reward pool and now it’s 25 Million $MNT Token reward pool.
So 15 Million $MNT Token will be distributed to the mantle users based on the acquired MJ Miles during Season Alpha event. Rest of the 10 Million $MNT will be distributed to the protocol and 50% or 5M $MNT will redistributed to the protocol’s users.
Previously, Mantle team already hinted that there will be quest or other activities for the users to participate and position themself for the 5M $MNT reward pool (Redistribution to Protocol’s users).
As a part of the Season Alpha, team recently launched the “Mantle Moonshot” event with social & on-chain based quest to introduce 8 verified protocols through 4 weeks long campaign. Now, it’s time to participate in the Moonshot campaign to position yourself for the total of 15M $MNT Token reward/airdrop.
🧙♂Reward Allocation & Distribution Timeline
Mantle team will reward users with total of 19k add-on traits for “Citizen Of Mantle” NFT or MJ Miles for participating in the Moonshot campaign. So participants can either win add-trait or MJ miles from this campaign. Beside this, each protocol is allocated their platform token reward as follow:
Here’s few important information regarding Mantle Moonshot’s reward distribution:
Q: Will every participant will get protocol token reward like $KTC Token or $rAGNI Token?
A: No, only those participants who will win/get Add-on Trait from galxe mystery box after completing the tasks. Also “Citizen of Mantle” NFT needs to be upgraded with the Add-on Trait before snapshot.
If you didn’t win Add-on Trait, then you will get 200 MJ Miles for participating in the campaign.
Q: How many protocol tokens one participant can win?
A: It will depend on the Add-on Trait winner number and token allocation from the protocol. As per Mantle Blog,
If Protocol A’s token reward pool is 1,000,000 tokens, and there are a total of 3,000 add-on trait winners, each of these winners will win 1,000,000 / 3,000 = 333.33 tokens.
Q: When reward will be distributed and is there any vesting period?
A: Protocol token distribution will be started after 1st February, 2024 and it would done within 14 days ( Subject to change).
Regarding distribution process or vesting, it will depend on the Protocol weather protocol token is listed or not or what type of token it is. For example,
KTX Finance will distribute 20% of the $KTC Token in February, 2024 and 80% of the $KTC Token allocation will be distributed over the next 1 year. AGNI Finance didn’t launch their $AGNI token yet, so 3M $rAGNI Token will be distributed after TGE/Listing. AGNI Finance TGE is expected to be on Q1 2024.
