Mini Royale Nations (MRN) is a community-owned skill-based shooter with different PvP and PvE game modes for every type of player. The core shooter game is set on top of a land control-oriented, social strategy game with a deep emphasis on clans, alliances and social mechanics.

Part 1  Introduction

When it comes to shooter game, the in-game weapons are always being talked about first.

Currently 12 basic weapons are available for players in MRN: Steyr-SSG-69 Ak47 MK18 XM1014 UZI Vector KG9 MP5 P90 Scar P228 Glock

As for the in-game NFTs, currently there are a number of types of NFTs in Mini Royale: Nations:

• Weapon Skins
• Upgrading Weapons
• Outfits
• Accessories&Other Cosmetics

Weapon Skins

Weapons skins are available as NFTs. However, overall weapon parameters and weapon level will be tied to the player's game account and will not be transferrable. For example:

• AK-47 dragon camo' skin will be tradeable as an NFT and will be used as a cosmetic item in the shooter game, and as a stake-able item in the Land Control meta game.
• AK-47' weapon type or its associated level, on the other hand, will not be an NFT
• Weapon skins and weapon level will not give players any power advantages or power boosts in PvP gameplay; however they can give some boosts in PvE modes

Weapon Skin Parameters

The following RNG parameters will be available at MRN launch:

Upgrading Weapons

Weapons can be upgraded using the correct Upgrade Points that match that Weapon Type.

• These upgrades apply at the Weapon Type level and not at the Weapon Skin level, therefore once a weapon (like an AK-47) is upgraded, all skins for that Weapon Type receive the upgraded parameters
• Weapon upgrades are tied to the player account and do not transfer when a weapon skin is sold

Upgrade Parameters

Here are some of the weapon type parameters that will increase as a weapon is upgraded:

• Damage modifiers in PvE
• Elemental effect modifiers in PvE
• Ability to use new Special Bullet types with this weapon
• Offensive power boost modifier (for Land Staking)
• Defensive power boost modifier (for Land Staking)

Land control-related boosts, like Offensive and Defensive power boost modifiers don’t apply to guns that are already staked to a land plot, and have to be unstaked in order to receive the upgraded stats.

Outfits

During most NFT drops, or in-game loot drops, players will win full outfits. These outfits will have a mix of randomized cosmetic and functional parameters that will make the items more unique.

Functional Parameters

Functional parameters of costumes that will be subject to RNG

• Elemental Armor Boost：Armor boost type；Armor boost amount； (No effect in PvP; but will have an Armor effect in PvE)
• Specialty (Assault, Sniper, etc. gives +1% movement speed when gun matches)
• Random achievement mission which gives prize (e.g. charms or emotes)

Armor effect of Outfits can diminish over time from taking damage. The amount of damage that a piece of armor can sustain before breaking is controlled by the armor’s Durability parameter. In order to restore armor strength back to its original strength, armor can be repaired for $CHEDDAR.

Character Lore Parameters

Character Background (lore parameters) that will be subject to RNG:

Nationality, First Name, Last Name, Personality, Zodiac, Positive Quirks, Negative Quirks, Alignment, Birth Place, Relationship Status.

Cosmetic Parameters

Cosmetic parameters of characters and outfits that will be subject to RNG: Haircut, Hair Color, Skin Color, Eye Color, Eyebrow Shape, Eyebrow Color, Facial Hair Style, Facial Hair Color, Facial Markings/Tattoos, Top’s Primary Color, Top’s Secondary Color, Top’s Custom Texture, Bottom’s Primary Color, Bottom’s Secondary Color, Bottom’s Custom Texture, Accessory Color, Accent Colors, Shoes, Gloves, Belts, Capes, Background.

Accessories & Other Cosmetics

The following non-essential cosmetic items will also be available and tradeable as NFTs in the future:

• Backpack
• Hats/Helmets
• Other Cosmetics: Sprays, Avatar Frames, Avatar Calling Cards, Chat Emotes, Character Emotes, Parachute Skin, Parachute Trails
• Other Items: Pets, Vehicle Skins

Part 2  Which NFT To Start？

As aforementioned, there are a number of types of NFTs in Mini Royale: Nations, from weapons skins to avatar outfits, from lands to buildings, nearly all items in the game can be and will be traded in the marketplace. So here comes the question, how can we beginners choose the most appropriate NFTs to invest from the very beginning?

First of all, there are two types of NFTs released in season 1 of Mini Royale: Nations----Premium Drop&Loot Collection.

Premium Drop is ultra rare 10,000 finite supply, featuring unique Viking armor that won’t be available anywhere else in game

Loot Collection is different set of Viking armor, gated by in-game effort, that will be earned from Battle Pass (BP) and Season Quests. Total quantity will depend on number of players participating and level of participation (low BP tiers will be high quantity, and high BP tiers will be much lower quantity)

So apparently NFTs from Premium Drop is much more valuable than that from Loot Collection.

Here are some numbers of Premium Drop NFTs in Magic Eden within 24 hours/7 days/30 days:

Evidently, the numbers of NFT trading within 30 days are not impressive at all, with a decrease of 45.40% in total trading volume and 27.03% in average price compared to the last 30 days. And a decrease of 7.99% in trading volume within 7 days indicates the continuous downturn of Mini Royale: Nations. Nevertheless, numbers are getting better after the declaration of Season 2 Premium Mint in April 7 2022 several days ago. Moreover, given that the official had promised a lot of benefits(6 terms in total) to the Season 1 Premium Drop holders in the new season, so undoubtedly, purchasing Premium Drop NFTs right now is a smart choice for beginners.

As aforementioned introduction to the Outfits of each Premium Drop NFT, each Miniverse Hero NFT is born with many attributes, such as Birthplace, Hair Color, Boots, Top, Personality, Specialty, etc.

Part 3  Unreleased NFTs

Land

Land is critical to the social and economic layer of the game. The Size and Rarity of the land plot will be known at the time of sale. But we do know that there are four main functions of the Land NFT.

• Orb Refinery. Build a refinery to convert your Orbs into Enriched Orbs.
• Mining. Build a Mining to harvest Engram Fragments and unlock rare weapons.
• Exploration. Discover new and resource-rich land to exploit.
• Ownership vs. Control. Take control of enemy territories and raid their resources.

Buildings

There are two different categories of Building NFTs in Mini Royale: Nations:

Utility Buildings

These buildings are Construction Blueprints that give land some form of economic output.

• These include Government Buildings (like the HQ), Economic Buildings (like Mines), and Military Buildings (like Walls)
• These NFTs can be traded as Blueprints, but become permanently fixed to a plot of Land when they are built and placed into a specific building slot on a Land Plot
• The Construction Blueprint is burnt when it’s built, and becomes part of the Land NFT metadata. When that Land is later sold, the attached Utility Buildings transfer over with it
• These buildings cannot be transferred to another piece of Land and can only be demolished if a player wishes to place a different building in that same occupied slot

Decorative Building Skins

These buildings act as cosmetic skins, either on their own, or sitting on top of Utility buildings.

• The Building Skin NFTs are not fused to a piece of Land and do not transfer during a Land Plot sale
• You can apply a Building Skin on top of an existing utility building. The skin will not transfer with the Land Plot when the land is sold; however the underlying utility building will

Tools & Equipment

Some land interactions require a player to equip certain tools, like mining or exploration equipment. This equipment can be won as in-game rewards or purchased through NFT drops or secondary marketplace transactions. Initially there will be the following types of Equipment NFTs in the game

Mining Equipment Parameters

• Rarity
• Example Equipment: Pick Axes, Mining Shovels, Electric Drills, etc.
• Durability: The equipment has a limited number of uses and must be replaced or repaired once its durability reaches zero
• Mining Boost modifier: Different equipment has different mining boost modifiers that give it boosted probability of earning better loot. The boost modifier can increase the probability of mining a specific type of Engram Fragment

Exploration Equipment Parameters

• Rarity
• Example Equipment: Ground Penetrating Radar, Thermal Imaging, etc.
• Durability: The equipment has a limited number of uses and must be replaced or repaired once its durability reaches zero
• Exploration Boost modifier: Different equipment has different exploration boost modifiers that give it boosted search speed and boosted probability of success

Starter Kit

Each player is given a starter Mining Shovel and Exploration Binoculars that do not degrade based on usage

Generally speaking, different attributes cause different prices of each Miniverse Hero, let’s take Specialty for an example, there are 14 types in Specialty attributes, including Heavy Weapon, Pistols, Shotguns, Assault, Household Objects, Sniper, etc. And the percentage that have this trait represents the rarity of the Hero. The less percentage that have this trait, the rarer this Hero NFT is, the more expensive this Hero NFT will be. Last but no least, among all these attributes, Specialty currently is the only one that can be functional in the game, for example, Assault, Sniper, etc. gives +1% movement speed when gun matches. So from the author’s point of view, Miniverse Hero NFTs with rare Specialty can be a better choice for beginners to invest.

To draw a conclusion, the NFTs from season 1 Premium Drop are more valuable than that from season 1 Loot Collection, and more promising than before because of the settlement of Season 1 Premium Drop NFTs Holding benefits from the official, while among all these Premium Drop NFTs , Miniverse Hero NFTs with rare Specialty can be a better choice for beginners to invest.
