This guide walks you through providing liquidity for the paUSD:GYD pool via Gyroscope and earning boosted rewards from our Aura Gauge, including how to earn Gyroscope SPIN points.
What is an E-CLP?
Elliptic Concentrated Liquidity Pools (E-CLPs) are designed to offer asymmetric concentrated liquidity along the curve of an ellipse. Unlike traditional liquidity pools, E-CLPs can focus liquidity more precisely within specific price bounds, enhancing capital efficiency by placing liquidity where it is most needed.
What is GYD?
GYD is Gyroscope's fully-backed stablecoin. It aims to maintain a 1:1 peg with USD, backed by a diverse reserve of assets. The reserve is designed to mitigate various risks including price, regulatory, and counterparty risks.
Steps to Provide Liquidity
Obtaining paUSD:GYD E-CLP Tokens
Visit the Gyroscope platform and locate the paUSD:GYD pool, then click on “join”.
Deposit paUSD and GYD to Redeem paUSD:GYD E-CLP Tokens
Enter the amount of paUSD and GYD you want to deposit.Note that you need to provide paUSD and GYD in a balanced way according to the pool's proportion. The exact ratio may vary depending on the pool's current state.
It’s now time to stake your LP on Aura to obtain boosted rewards, click on “Aura Boosted Rewards” to be redirected to the Aura Finance App.
Staking paUSD:GYD E-CLP Tokens on Aura
Navigate to the paUSD:GYD Pool on Aura

Go to the Aura Finance homepage and search for “paUSD”.

Select the paUSD:GYD pool on Ethereum.
Deposit Your paUSD:GYD E-CLP Tokens

Enter the amount of paUSD:GYD E-CLP tokens you wish to stake.

Connect your wallet and approve the transaction (this will incur a gas fee).

Once approved, click “Deposit and Stake”.
Congratulations! You have now provided liquidity for paUSD:GYD on Aura and will begin receiving boosted rewards.
Rewards are distributed block by block and accumulate in the “Claim” tab on the Aura Finance app.
