Chimeras feature 100 unique illustrations handpicked from 22 500 possible variations. This project explores the mystical nature of art and archetypical iconography used throughout the history of humankind. All assets are traditional paintings created with oil-pastels, edited digitally and assembled into 1/1 illustrations by hand.

With this project I am gathering the core community members of the brand, closest friends and investors of the common future. Generated funds will be used to build a portfolio website and e-shop that will host BV blog, merchandise, physical art, prints and of course NFTs. Since holders of Chimeras will be the base investors for the brand, they will receive discounts, free merch and other features that will be built along the way.
Roadmap
The goals achieved will depend on the success of the collection, yet I want to share what I would do ideally. This is a step by step guide:
10/100 - I will be building a draft website trough Cargo Collective web builder, I might run it as a test platform for some time too. My next step would be to send a blue-print of my ideal portfolio to a developer. Yet - I have to figure out all the mechanics I want to include into it.
20/100 - With a conceptual website ready, it will be sent to a developer who will code everything necessary to own an independent domain. I have a few friends who will help me out with that, so I am not in the dark.
30/100 - TBA

Details and WIP Content
As mentioned before, this is a semi-generative project. I am creating and assembling all of the assets myself, while ‘Foundation Drops’ will be generating random NFTs to people who mint them. I want each and every image to be as best, compositionally and colorfully correct as possible, so I am putting manual labor into perfecting each illustration. I want all of the collectors to be equally happy while they be owning very different works.
This is a mixed-media project - all of the assets have been painted with oil-pastels on paper, photographed, edited digitally and then assembled within Photoshop.
How a Chimera is Built
It is built by combining different attributes into a singular picture. Usually we have around 6 assets combined into each illustration. Abstinence of attributes sometimes add artistic value to certain illustrations.
Each asset was made with oil-pastels on paper and then edited digitally. Usually I go with a heavy edit, yet it’s hardly felt because over the years I have mastered how to edit oil-pastels so they would retain their organic value.
Raffles
Since this collection has been made from assets painted traditionally, I will be raffling some of them to the collectors of ‘Chimeras’. The raffle system will depend on the success of the collection. Ideally I want to give-away prints and paintings for ~10% of the collectors. Of course I would love to shower everyone with gifts.
Since it would be weird to do raffles with few collectors, I will wait until a 50% of Chimeras are sold-out before doing any raffle announcements.
Rarity
Rarity is not important to this project, this project was not made to be flipped as an asset, though I encourage a strong and healthy secondary market for it. All of the artworks were created to be individually unique - each work is 1 out of 100 in it self. Also collectors have to consider holding a Chimera NFT as a passport to the internal community of Chimeras holders.
Of course we have some elements that were included for pure fun - these could be considered rare items. One them is a Rare Pepe. We have only one pepe and five Chimeras with a pepe head - purely for the culture.
