I Am Not A Single Being, And Neither Are You

“consent not to be a single being” is the subtitle to Dr. Fred Moten’s book Black and Blur (Duke University Press, 2017). In a collection of essays, he explores the ideas of blackness, nothingness, blackness as nothingness and nothingness as everything.

So, here goes nothing. I write elsewhere too but those places shall remain compartmentalized from here, for now. There is no visible path forward from here, just a fog I’ve become friends with.

Tech is also no single being. Today, we’re adding dimensions to inanimate objects while reducing our own dimensionality. Autocorrect doesn’t seem to think dimensionality is a word, and I beg to differ. More accurately, idgaf. There are things to write about, thoughts to add to the chain, and this space is one whole experiment and may change form and content multiple times. Iterations, they call it.

Welcome to iteration one: nothing!
