Here’s my take on RabbitHole’s essay quest.

When crypto markets go through a downturn, some people lose focus on the potential of the technology. What is keeping you motivated? You can write about projects, people, or ideas inspiring you.

Ethereum isn’t about the price of the token. It’s been down to 70$ and up to 4k$. It doesn’t matter. What matters is the technology and the community.

Ethereum, now with the Merge approaching, is more than ever an ideal of a solar-punk future, where people can transact with each other across the globe without any central party controlling these interactions.

The community around this technology, I think, strongly believes in this ideal. And that’s the driving force for its adoption, not the monetary investment.
