Point and Merit System

The Carbonstarter airdrop works on a “Point and Merit” system. Participants collect points across various platforms by completing quests and unlocking levels. Then, the points are amplified or reduced based on merit.

Discord

On Discord, activity is key. Every message sent within the server contributes to earning a higher level. Keep in mind that the count has a time frame of 1 minute, and spamming will result in an indefinite removal from the server.

The maximum number of points an individual can earn via Discord is 61600 points, with all roles earned, Cup of Coffee NFT minted, and achieving Level 250. The role of OG is granted to the first 500 Discord members, while Trusted and Scholar are granted exclusively by the team. Caffeine is granted to those who have minted the Cup of Coffee NFT. Carbonaut role is claimable by everyone. 

Those who boost the Discord server receive a special “Booster” role, which equates to the point granted to Trusted (5000).

Telegram

On Telegram, value addition and being a community is key. Telegram works with a reputation point (or REP) system, where users can tip each other up to 100 REP every 24 hours. On certain occasions, Telegram members can also play various games to earn significant REP points as a reward. With more REP, a user achieves a higher level. Each level corresponds to a different number of points contributing toward the airdrop.

The maximum number of points an individual can earn via Telegram is 30000 points.

Mirror

Mirror is one of the major platforms where we at Carbonstarter deliver articles and detailed explanations. One of the main features of Mirror is that readers are able to mint an article entry as an NFT to show support to the author. Naturally, the Mirror NFTs also count toward the airdrop points. 

NFT collections such as “Cup of Coffee” have unlimited supply, but have a time limit. After the time limit has expired, the NFT will no longer be mintable. 

Article NFTs do not have a time limit, but have a limited supply. Each article has a limit of 500 mints per article.

Duplicates are allowed by nature, yet we strongly recommend that participants refrain from participating in unfair practices. 

Social Quests

Starting today, the Carbonstarter Zealy space is live. Soon, our community will see more spaces opening up on various other platforms. As these spaces operate on an XP basis, each XP carries its full weight at the airdrop point. This means:

1 XP = 1 Point

Airdrop Passes

This is the final hurdle. In order to qualify for the 4,000,000 ARBS airdrop, participants must hold one of the official Airdrop Pass NFTs. There are 3 rounds of Airdrop Pass NFTs. Participants are automatically eligible for the airdrop by purchasing only one of the three. Those who have collected all 3 rounds receive additional points.

Each airdrop pass mint details will vary, with Round 1 being the cheapest in mint fee and largest in circulation, and Round 3 being the most expensive in mint fee and smallest in circulation.

The Merit System

After collecting all the points, all participants must go through the merit system. Through a partnership with a renowned group of data scientists focusing on artificial intelligence, Carbonstarter is utilizing a predictive algorithm to sort the wallets. 

The algorithm has an extremely high accuracy rate of 86% and can measure the qualitative behavior of the wallet owners. This means that those who have a long history of providing support and creating value within the Web3 ecosystem will be further rewarded, while those who have relied on malpractice will have their rewards partially or fully taken away.

The system also allows us to separate bot wallets, ensuring that all of the airdrops go to our true supporters and making the airdrop campaign bot-proof. Bot wallets will be assigned a merit value of “0”, nullifying all collected points and thus disqualified from receiving any airdrop tokens.

How the Airdrop is Calculated

The final airdrop amount is calculated in a multiplied ratio. The formula is as the following:

(Your cumulative total / Cumulative total of all participants) x Merit Multiplier x 4,000,000

This ensures that those who go above and beyond are rewarded exponentially, while those who do not wish to put in extra effort can also do minimal tasks and possess the Airdrop Pass NFT to qualify for some airdrop with a certain guarantee.
