Cryptovium started a voting poll at twitter trying to catch the sentiment of the current Ethereum mining pools. He asked the mining community if they will be mining $RVN, $FLUX or $ETC in his poll. Some replies added $KDA, $KAS and $ETHW (which will be an $ETH fork at the day of the merge) as a viable option.

Whereas Bismuth is also an optimal candidate for the mining community. The following video demonstrates setting up Bismuth mining.

Bismuth Mining Options

The biggest BIS mining pool is Eggpool. Some miners might also try the small Coinsaurus pool. And if you prefer to solo mine, then the open source alternative kbkminer is the ideal strategy.

The Python Blockchain

Bismuth is the first python blockchain launched back in 2017. The Bismuth tokenomics from March 2022 look great compared to most coins in the crypto industry.
