In this phase, you are invited to stake your Signet Bitcoin on either Chakra Staking dApp, or on Babylon Staking dApp with Chakra as the finality provider. In either way, your staked assets will be delegated to Chakra, the finality provider for Babylon. This means that with just one staking transaction, you can enjoy dual staking experiences on both the Chakra and Babylon Testnets, potentially earning rewards from both platforms simultaneously.

• Staking Activation: Staking will be enabled at Signet BTC block height 198,665, expected between 9 AM and 10 AM UTC on June 5, 2024.

Key Features

• Dual Staking Experiences: Stake once, and benefit from dual staking experiences on Chakra and Babylon. Upon staking confirmation, you can view your staking transactions in the Staking History section on both platforms.

• Dual Staking Bonuses: Verify your staking task on both Chakra’s and Babylon’s Galxe campaigns after staking on Chakra or Babylon. Receive a special gift from Chakra and a Mystery Box from Babylon as a reward for your early participation.

• Staking Duration: Stake your Signet Bitcoin for a fixed duration of 448 days.

• Unbonding and Withdrawal: Stakers can unbond and withdraw their stake at any time, with an unbonding period of 7 days.

• Staking Limits: The staking cap is set at 50 Signet Bitcoins. The minimum stake per transaction is 0.0005 Signet Bitcoin, and the maximum is 0.05 Signet Bitcoin.

How to Participate in Phase 2

In Phase 1: Aqua Dropping, stakers received Signet Bitcoin airdrops from Chakra. Now, in Phase 2, it’s time for the water drops to merge into the ocean. Note that Phase 1 is not a prerequisite for Phase 2, and tasks completed in Phase 1 will be automatically verified in Phase 2 on Galxe.
