The Mathematical Inspiration Behind “Coset”
The name “Coset” is inspired by the concept of cosets in group theory, a branch of mathematics. In this theory, a H of a group G partitions the elements of G into disjoint subsets of equal size, known as cosets.
This mathematical framework beautifully mirrors the philosophy that has guided us since the inception of our community: individual members (Coset) each contribute unique value, and together, they form a united whole (Set).
