Excited to share updates on our work the past two weeks. If you haven’t read our first changelog, it’s available right here, and as always, hit us up @coherentapi or any of our emails to provide feedback or other features you’d like to see. Already it’s been so helpful in iterating our product, so we’re always down to talk more. Without further ado (drumroll sounds in the distance)…
We’re excited to finally be moving towards a central part of our vision. We’ve finished our backfill for Optimism blocks, and underway on parsing popular Optimism dapp contracts to increase our offerings for readable transactions. And thanks to the wonders of L2, all the contracts we’ve already parsed on Ethereum are also already available on Optimism, but plenty of work left to be done.
Also excited to announce that we’ve spun up a streaming service as well for transaction history, allowing you to subscribe to an address and listen for new readable transactions from chain-tip, helping out users who were in need of a notification service or a generic live feed of user transactions. Will be typing up some documentation for this soon and putting it on our site, but please stay posted and sign up for the alpha so we can get back to you!
Finally, thanks to some wizardry from our engineering team, we’ve streamlined the number of external API calls and have reduced our latency by 50%, taking a step towards our end goal of being one of the most performant APIs available on the market.
