‘ONCHAIN RAVE CONTINUUM’ by Harmony-NY + Refraction

For one night only in New York City, Refraction, Towns, and ALLSHIPS, alongside partners Lens, Zora, Orb, and FWB, invite a lineup of international music and visual artists to Public Records on April 4th 2024. Headlined by UK-based DJ and producer Benji B, with support from Prince Language from Seance Centre label, and local NYC-based talent, 063N13 and Athena Yasaman. The night also features digital artwork displays from globe-spanning artists from Berlin to Brazil. Head over to RA for tickets.

Public Records, known for “unifying communities through sound”, first opened its doors in April 2018 and has since been a prominent fixture in Brooklyn's vibrant nightlife scene with its unique interior design and high-quality sound system.

In celebration of the event, Crowdmuse is proud to announce a curated drop with Harmony-NY and Refraction. This piece highlights a custom-made tour style drop designed and printed in NYC—an ode to the influence our local spaces, makers, and creative talent have on everyday life and how we interact with fashion and music in our societies.

In a recent interview with Edmond Lau for ESOTERIC, founders Kenzo Nakamura and Tim Nolan describe Harmony-NY “as a New York-based streetwear label run by a ‘global creative collective’.”

We believe the future of brand building and fashion supply chains will become more and more decentralized and web-like than vertically integrated around a central brand. Harmony-NY is an example of how creative directors and designers from the legacy brand space are building a decentralized luxury streetwear label and letting the community decide on how it should be run.

We are excited to curate this drop with Refraction, speaking to both collaborators values and mission in shifting how creative ownership functions, and to foster a more equitable industry. Refraction is becoming a pioneer of culture adoption across internet and IRL creative and technology communities. To date, it has held over 25 events worldwide and has brought 500K USD back to artists through creative grants, fellowships, onchain exhibition sales, and artists fees.

The drop will be available on the Crowdmuse (beta) marketplace on the Base Network for a limited time only and available for US-based collectors, who can select local delivery or pick-up at Public Records during the event.
