🚩 October 2021 🗓 - The Inception of Curiousers Labs

Curiousers Labs is a branch team of internal investors and incubated by a blockchain technology institution.We have a complete Web2 and Web3 product development team with experience.

Why are we called the Curiousers ❓

We are curious about the world of Web3, trying to do something interesting and change the world.

🚩 November 2021 🗓 - The Inception of Metalk DAO

Based on our experience with the development trajectory of Web2, we have a massive interest in building a “traffic-based” Web3 application, and social media platforms are obviously the best “traffic-based” platforms. Before Twitter Blue came about, we already had the idea of using NFTs as social media avatars. With the boom of PFPs, we are more confident that NFTs are the gateway to Web3 . Hence, we decided to build Metalk DAO.

"Connect the Crypto World" is Metalk's slogan, Inspired by Meta (FaceBook) "Connection is evolving and so are we." For Meta (FaceBook)'s metaverse plan, we understand the concept yet remain doubtful.

🚩 January 2022 🗓 - Product Development

At the beginning of Metalk DAO's creation, we kept an open attitude: building together, governing together, and sharing with our community is our philosophy.We conferred 10,000 “Dialogers” as Metalk’s only Genesis members. Every “Dialoger“ can be staked in Metalk NFT Bank to redeem 40,000 $META (5% of $META will be burned in every redemption). This will greatly agilize and empower “Dialogers” while at the same time allowing more users to own $META, become members of the community and participate in community governance.

We need to build a huge community. Obviously, 10,000 Dialogers can't meet our expectations for a huge community. Therefore, in addition to Metalk Genesis, we will also launch Metalk Family series metaverse social characters, and we will invite artists, celebrities and other public figures to create together.The Metalk Family series NFTs can be minted for free by staking $META, so creators don't have to worry about bad reputation.

We have commenced the formulation of the whitepaper, the development of the DApp, etc.

🚩 March 2022 🗓 - Marketing Challenges

After almost two months, we completed a relatively satisfactory beta version and planned to invest $2 million in marketing. But we don't have a professional marketing team. After trying many ways, we still couldn't find a way to make the marketing cost effective, which made us very confused.

We have spent many hours inviting Snoop Dogg, Gary Vee and other public figures to collaborate with us to no avail. Perhaps we are not well-known yet. However, if there is a chance, we would like to work with them in the future.

🚩 March 2022 🗓 - A New Understanding of DAO

When we are met with marketing challenges, we begin to reflect on our marketing direction and the value of DAO.

A DAO’s core asset is its community. And a community’s most premium assets are the OGs.

Our goal is clear: Connect the crypto world and become a well-respected blue-chip project like BAYC.

Our hope to find our Genesis members is also very clear: The NFT OG collectors who saw the true value of BAYC and who have grown together with BAYC until now.

Perhaps we need influential individuals to increase Metalk’s brand awareness. However, what we need most is to address the community in the most sincere ways possible (e.g., airdrops and Mint2Earn). Thus, we have formulated “ALL-STAR 2022 Metalk Metaverse Basketball Game” where 210 ETH and around 35,000,000 $META are allocated as rewards for all NFT OG collectors.
