After a few months of building, we have finally launched DAOhall in Jan 2023. While the devs are working hard in tuning the product experience and building new functions, we are releasing DAOhall roadmap for 2023-2024:

2023Q1

1. Gas Optimization: Optimizing gas expense in subdomain registration. The target is to cut off 70% of gas. As of 9th Feb, the gas per subdomain registration has been cut off by 31%. Future versions will optimize further. As DAOhall’s mission is to usher Web2 users into Web3, cutting down the cost of onboarding is crucial. We know that ENS team is also working hard on optimizing gas for domain registration. We believe that 2023 will be the year we prepare for mass adoption of ENS, both for domains and subdomains.

2. Marketplace for Subdomains: DAOhall’s vision is subdomain holders of each domain will form a community. This is similar to NFTs on Opensea. While NFT holders can transact on Opensea, there is no place for easy and friendly transaction of subdomains. DAOhall team is building a marketplace which will allow anyone to trade subdomains easily, with gas optimized.

3. NFT Drop: Under DAOhall’s vision, subdomain holders are community members, and NFTs shall be benefits to members. Subdomains are membership passes, NFTs could have many forms and utilities and will be the “things” rewarded and owned by community members. DAOhall is building a NFT drop function which will allow projects to easily issue NFTs (like PFPs or utility NFTs like vouchers or tickets) to their community, based on flexible rules set by project admins. For example, TiffanyDAO (the project built with Tiffany.ETH) will use NFT Drop function to issue PFPs to 0.tiffany.eth to 9999.tiffany.eth holders.

2023Q2

1. Marketplace iterations: Marketplace itself is a complicated product. This requires devs to invest in more time to iterate and optimize in the long run.

2. Token Drop: similar to NFT Drop, this function allow projects to easily issue tokens to community based on designated rules. In DAOhall’s vision, it should not require a dev team to build a DAO. Let the community experts focused on community building, let DAOhall provide all the necessary tools.

2023Q3

1. Marketplace iterations: always improving, to be the de-facto marketplace for subdomain web3 membership passes.

2. APIs: DAOhall will provide APIs for other dApps (including Games) to easily distribute and manage subdomains as membership services. Will onboard dAPPs once APIs fully tested.

2023Q4

1. Marketplace iterations: always improving, to be the de-facto marketplace for subdomain web3 membership passes.

2. APIs interations: providing professional APIs for other dAPPs requires continuous efforts.

2024

The Web3 market is projected to boom in 2024. In 2023, DAOhall will get everything ready for the ride in 2024. In the year of 2024, DAOhall team will continue to improve its core service of providing tools for easy DAO management, with subdomain as membership pass in the core.

Missions likely to be included in 2024 agenda would be:

1. Adopt to ZK ecosystem;

2. Adopt to multi-chain ecosystem;

3. Integrate with many dAPPs.

Web3 is happening, DAO is the future, and DAOhall is here to build.
