Did you ever get a wild idea about NFTs that it unsettles your stomach? Maybe, not yet.

Today, I’m announcing that all visual artworks which have been minted and listed on OpenSea as part of awalkaday.art NFT Collection will follow a new pricing pattern.

The new, uniform, price tag is 0.05 ETH.

Previously, some #awalkaday non-fungible tokens were listed at this price. 0.05 ETH used to be the unique pricing option for #awalkaday NFTs shot in 2017 and 2018. Afterwards, artworks that were captured in 2021 and 2022 would carry an individual price tag (between 0.07 ETH and 0.25 ETH).

Starting from mid-April of 2022, all listed items are being set to an identical floor price. This means that some artworks will see their price lowered to 0.05 and newly-listed ones will be put on sale similarly.

Why not more expensive? Well, after careful consideration, I came to the realization that the value of each NFT is in the eye of its owner.

What do I mean? It doesn’t matter if it snowed on that day or if I missed the train back home or if my camera broke down unexpectedly. My emotional attachment to every #awalkaday NFT should not impact the public sale price. I’m trying to remove my ego from my decision workflow. Making the choice that one item should be worth 0.15 ETH or 0.069 ETH is counter-productive and makes me vulnerable to a greedy attitude.

Going forward, I will focus more on artistic creativity, marketing/promotion and smart contract coding. The new low price will allow almost anyone to own a share of the awalkaday.art project.

No one should be forced to buy a pair of luxurious shoes before taking a walk. I’ve set my mind to a new goal of creating affordable NFTs. No more time lost on valuing what I mint on the Ethereum blockchain.

The future owners will be free to resell, reuse and remix my visual artworks (according to the Public Domain (CC0 1.0) content license).

Go to opensea.io/collection/awalkaday and collect what seduces your eyes. Now, the artwork price will not influence your choice of owning #awalkaday NFTs. Only your art appreciation skills matter. Be the only one to decide what’s worth purchasing, regardless of the price tag. Your virtual room/office will thank you later.
