Ending "war on drugs"

Nobel Peace Prize for Rick Doblin and MAPS for ending “war on drugs”

Here is a speech that I’m prepared to make:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Today, we accomplished a major achievement, where we have decided to evolve our societal understanding, policy, and approach towards drugs. This decision signifies a monumental shift, motivated by a renewed commitment to public health, personal freedom, and social justice.

For too long, our views on drugs have been shaped by a whirlwind of mass media propaganda, misinformation, and powerful lobbies of the tobacco, alcohol, and pharmaceutical industries. These entities have benefited from a business model that fosters drug dependency while suppressing information about natural plant medicines that have been used for centuries to heal and alleviate human suffering.

We find ourselves today stepping away from a past defined by the "war on drugs," a political construct designed during the Vietnam War era, less for public safety and more as a tool to suppress dissent and arrest the leaders of the Peace movement.

This war resulted in a private prison system that profited from drug convictions, low cost customer acquisition, mindblowing lifetime customer value.

These harmful action sow the seeds of systemic inequality and social injustice.

Our evolutionary step towards legalizing and regulating drugs is a testament to our desire to rectify past wrongs and to form a more equitable, scientifically driven, and compassionate society. Scientific research has shown us that some of these substances can offer relief from chronic pain, treat PTSD, contribute to mental health therapy, and alter our "default mode network," providing novel insights into the human mind.

It's as though we've been living in a house with numerous unopened doors. By changing our brain's default patterns, we're unlocking these doors and exploring new rooms—rooms filled with creativity, empathy, and an enhanced understanding of the world. It's a journey that can make us more attuned to the energy around us, fostering a deeper connection with our inner selves, past selves and future selves.

This evolution signifies more than a change in policy—it represents a commitment to social justice, to scientific understanding, to health, and to personal autonomy. It signals our intent to learn from our past and our courage to forge a new path defined by openness, inclusivity, and a focus on health and wellbeing

Thank you.

Low cost customer acquisition. Large lifetime customer value. Pretty extreme.

What Do You Think? Do you agree with this statement? 👇🏽🍄👇🏽

The war on drugs “is not a war on pills, powder, plants, and potions, it is a war on mental states — a war on consciousness itself — how much, what sort we are permitted to experience, and who gets to control it” ~ RG BOIRE

I personally love this quote and will take a stand for Cognitive Liberty until the day I die.

I have been deeply passionate about this topic ever since my first high-dose experience many, many moons ago.

We all have the right to explore our consciousness in the way we choose.

Millions of people alter their consciousness with other plants like coffee and tobacco every single day. We co-evolved with plants to evolve our consciousness, including fungi.

What we need is better education around safe use and supportive integration.

It’s hard to share education on social media when censorship is still super tight.

I’m hoping that platforms like this can start becoming more aware of the need for psychedelic education and stop banning so many important hashtags that prevent many of us (as psychedelic educators) from reaching our audiences.

I know this is a complex issue, and hope that we can evolve with the times.

What do you think? 👇🏽🍄👇🏽

May we all have the freedom to choose and #livefree

I know what I know. I’ve what I’ve seen.

It is perfectly true, normal, legal that certain legislative frameworks and regulatory guidance are not compatible with factual reality. It always takes time to reconcile.

I would like to change the culture. Becoming uncancellable is a necessary first step - Freedom of Speech - Freedom of Expression - Cognitive Liberty

The work continues…

I posted it on 4th July and referenced key organisations that have power and influence to do something about it: WFP, WHO, UNICED, ALLFED.

Literally the day after (5th July) prestigious journal posted a paper that pretty much confirms my thesis:

Key term: MBBF (multiple breadbasket failure)

I really hope to be called “alarmist” after the fact but there is virtually no downside to having Strategic Food Reserve. I already have 50KG of rice and I’m going to acquire a little bit more of diverse and balanced food with long shelve life “just in case”.
