The Project Galaxy On-chain Achievement Token standard enables dApps to issue credentials to users based on their web3 interactions. dApps can use Project Galaxy to take snapshots of users and distribute OATs that can then be used for token-gating.

decent.land aims to give projects as much control as possible over token-gating and be broadly compatible with other web3 infra. That’s why the Ark API and oracle now return Project Galaxy OATs for a given Arweave or Ethereum/EVM address.

With Ark, it’s possible for Arweave and NEAR dApps to verify credentials from Project Galaxy alongside ownership of any NFT, POAP or DID on several EVM and non-EVM chains.

Use the Ark API to verify ownership

To get data about Ark-verified users in your dApp, use the endpoint below where network is either arweave or evm, depending on the address being used to query.

Apps that need multichain wallet verification or proof-of-ownership can also integrate the Ark library to get the functionality shown on ark.decent.land natively.
