On June 3rd at 5:16PM the @wagdie_eth twitter account posted an etherscan address 0x659A4BdaAaCc62d2bd9Cb18225D9C89b5B697A5A with an audio recording instructing and beckoning those who dared to make a contract. Within 24 hours there was incredible volume, fan-art (Gremplin , ROMbrant , Dalton) and huge volatility that pushed prices above an ETH and back down to The Number .

I found myself intrigued by the art, the lore, and incredible voice-acting and felt compelled to make my first thread. I was far from alone as @KingOffling tweeted out the initial Fandom, expanded upon things dove even deeper into the lore.

There was a lot of speculation as to where this was going, what this could be and what this was as we were first introduced to Olsten at 3:46PM EST on the 4th, then 3 hours later at 6:29PM EST asked our first question. A simple question, yet unknowingly it was the beginning of our participation in a game and one with consequences to action.

June 4th 8:06PM EST, 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕭𝖔𝖓𝖋𝖎𝖗𝖊 𝖔𝖋 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝕾𝖊𝖈𝖔𝖓𝖉 𝕹𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙 𝕭𝖊𝖌𝖎𝖓𝖘 where recorded in this transaction: 0x381994dc9221ef447f5f9b79959e3ce08fc5aace1ac34145c405ccf6fdf4192e as well as in the Spaces, the burning of Olsten and several others began.

But this game is full of many surprises, and I doubt even the DM could have foreseen how many more would follow into the fire so quickly. Between the Spaces and events that followed, from the WAGDIE team themselves to the community caught up in the action, I wrote another thread trying to piece it all together.

We knew the 6th of June, 2022 (2+2+2=6) would be important date for WAGDIE and were catching onto the Theater and starting to see the game. As far as the lore was concerned we knew our actions could summon Mother Agora, but what took place on that night shocked many.

𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕮𝖞𝖈𝖑𝖊 𝖔𝖋 𝕳𝖊𝖗 𝕭𝖊𝖌𝖎𝖓𝖘 and the moment WAGDIE responded in kind to the 21 souls that burned during the 𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝕭𝖔𝖓𝖋𝖎𝖗𝖊 𝖔𝖋 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝕾𝖊𝖈𝖔𝖓𝖉 𝕹𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙 by purchasing a 21e MAYC 1 hour before the space and BURNING IT during the ritual.

This of course led to another frenzy of burning & a fan made community website emerged to keep track of it all.

And I posted another thread recapping the event:

It was around this time that our community spaces had been going & we found a rhythm of enjoying the performance by WAGDIE than gathering in spaces to convene. Others started to notice our activities and there was mixed criticism and excitement.

The burning continued & we were given a number (200) which we quickly exceeded.

Following the MAYC event and now over 200 burned, it felt as though something BIG was going to happen again.. and it did. But NOT what anyone (community & WAGDIE included) expected..

Almost as if on queue from the 200 goal, suddenly the collection was DELISTED. It only lasted 15 minutes or so at the time..but it felt longer in the moment. And it was long enough for @JfellzZ to quickly throw up a space, in which community members joined and by the time we were ready to riot it was over.

But in ANOTHER unexpected turn of events.. Something incredible took place. I felt weird about it at the time, but I’ve grown to really love it. An undoxxed team asks for a lot of trust and faith and WAGDIE was quick to show theirs by refunding all those who panicked and sold during the period we were delisted and relisted by Opensea and I wrote a recap of my thoughts at the time in another thread.

With those events out of the way, the story was ready to continue (and again) I’ll link the LORE because @KingOffling does such an incredible job on diving further into that and I’m certainly rushing over and skipping some things.

But to quickly sum things up. We had another visit from Reimo, who by now we learned was a follower of her (Mother Agora). And we were given another choice, but this time it was presented in the form of a poll on twitter, with 3 options.

It was also here that we were first alluded to the Tokens of Concord & told that they beckoned our call. By now we were habitual in forming spaces and talking things out as choices arose. I highly recommend tuning in and listening to King explain the gamification of the three choices and the importance of one of them being to remain.

But again I summed things up as best as I could in yet another Thread

It’s funny looking back at these speculations since there were some things we got right and others we quite wrong. Already we were speculating on WHOM the Tokens of Concord would go to and at the time we only knew that it would be (2) individuals.

We also had found the link to the contract and that they were ERC 1155 Tokens.

We received a message letting us know that it would be 15 miles before we reached our destination in the EAST. As to when and how far 15 Miles was in OUR WORLD, we quickly eliminated the possibility of 15 minutes while in another community space and decided it could be 15 hours..

June 9th 3:08PM EST a piercing white light blinded us all.

But our community members were pretty quick to piece together the clues.

So we hosted another space speculating..

And when 𝔗𝔥𝔢 ℑ𝔫𝔣𝔦𝔫𝔦𝔱𝔢 𝔉𝔦𝔯𝔢 𝔬𝔣 ℌ𝔢𝔯 𝔏𝔦𝔤𝔥𝔱 spaces took place, we were already watching the contract:

Which is how we were able to witness the first 3 Tokens of Concord as they were being distributed. These tokens were Flame of the 21 (given to the first 21 brave souls who burned with Olsten), Her Ember (given to the 57 who dared to burn with MAYC) and Her Ash the final 122 for a total of 200 that burned. But more than 200 had burned..

The Fool’s Cap was awarded to the 1st person to send themselves to the burn address past the 200 cutoff. This was by far one of my favorite Tokens of Concord awarded. But we knew there was more Tokens of Concord to deliver. At least 3 more for we had seen 2 in the banner and the Burnt Claw in earlier messages.

During this time I wrote another Thread recapping the days events.

But I had started before the day was over..

And that is when Euler arrived. The courier that Reimo had mentioned earlier, the courier that would be delivering Tokens of Concord to be awarded to 2 individuals. And along with those tokens we received a map.

King had received 10 of the 20 tokens we saw WAGDIE once in possession of. It was not a shock to many of us as King had kept up on the Lore.

And the second recipient was Josiah who received 5 Tokens leaving WAGDIE with the final 5. This was also well deserved.

And that is where we are right now. With 15/20 Field Notes in possession of our two newly anointed Stalwart Researchers. 200 tokens to those who burned, in three stages based on when they burned as well as a Jester’s Cap to the first fool to burn after.

But there is still much adventure and big decisions to be made. Euler, the courier had told King & Josiah that they must decide what to do with their 15 tokens. Also it was confirmed that Tokens of Concord mark your allegiance to a Concord. There are MANY allegiances of Concord.

Including this one, which Euler hints as something Stalwart Researches can aspire to receive one day.

Final bonus.. we were shown this vision by Euler that he received during the blinding light of the Eclipse. Take what you want with that information. There was this reference to Gunship as well as a reference to Berserk.

Also.. it’s been one hell of a first week for a new project, breaking new grounds and trying new things in a Bear Market.

I know there are those who are concerned with price action and worried about the longevity of such a project. All I can say is, as always.. only invest what you can afford to lose and enjoy the ride.
