Call to Action: After a community snapshot vote (decide.fateofwagdie.com) led the Lost Pilgrims to the Church, a newly Location Staking mechanic was introduced for players to choose between one of two sides.

The Story:
Since the Contract between the Two was made to bring WAGDIE into the Ether, we’ve heard about The Two (Mother Agora and the Nameless Serpent).
Agora made a huge impression in the beginning when 201 WAGDIE were burned in her name, as well as the infamous #20438 Mutant Ape Yacht Club. Over time, there has been a lack of a clear Guild or Concord in her name. Those who claimed allegiance to her were killed, players and NPCs alike. Most notably Remo, the Deceiver & Yuler.
While traversing the swamps and putrid forest, as well as many appearances throughout the Forsaken Lands we learned that neither of the Detritis (Crow and Swamp Witch) are fans of Agora nor recognize either of The Two. Their allegiance is to nature and chaos.
While in the Primordial Lands we learned the Druids of the Southern Plains care little for either of The Two and spit at mention of Yorn & Yogg (2 of the 17 who are the most devout to Agora and taken shapes to resemble their allegiance to her).
While in the Turlo, we learned that Yuria and her berserkers, The Fury, are also not fans of Agora nor the Zealots of Yorn & Yogg. Yuria had been in direct conflict with them waging wars and battle against them.
On the other hand.. the Nameless Serpent has been but a GHOST in this story. Only briefly mentioned while discussing the formation of the writing mass, the Two, and almost always in tandem with Agora.
That was until we participated in the Festival & Festival Tournament. We were introduced to the Grand Jester’s Concord who very much seemed to worship or be in allegiance with the Serpent. They even sacrificed one of their own to the Serpent.
Meanwhile we’ve ignored The Church of Her since we first were there. It has come up many times as an option of an area to Travel. Once we passed it and noticed Agora to resemble more of Detriti than Her Light.. And while we were ignoring The Church we were told it was burning..
Low and behold when we made the decision to finally visit The Church, after ignoring it for so long.. It is very much aflame and burning..

The Story:
After Chen won first place in the Festival Tournament, he was awarded a Jester’s Wand (1/1 Grand Jester Concord Token). Chen also gained a shroud and joined the Dark Blade Guild.
Wagdielore.eth (Concord of Research) has a known interest in collecting all the Concord Tokens. Their lowball bids insulted and intrigued the DBG who sent a Crow and Talon to the Concord of Research. The Concord’s response came from a member of their Guild, Julian.. Who expressed interest in coming to the Crow’s Den to study the wand and possibly receive Chen’s Autograph.
While Julian studied the wand, some lore was uncovered and there was a strange incident.. For a moment Julian seemed lost in the wand. But then all seemed well, aside from Julian building a nest within the Crow’s Den.
But looks can be deceiving.. shortly after this image was painted.. Julian and the Wand left the Crow’s Den.. without permission. Which led to many threats, wanted posters and a great chase. Julian’s chase led him into the forest where he discovered some familiar looking balloons (once used to observe a WAGDIE QUEST event). It was then that Julian took to the air, activating The Flight of Julian.

Tournaments, Dueling, and Questing. In the past we would send the WAGDIE manually to an ENS address and participate in these events. With the introduction of Location Staking players can now participate directly from fateofwagdie.com/character/ screen.
PRIOR TO GOING: It is recommended that one take advantage of the DND-like Character Sheets. One of the earlier mechanics introduced shortly after the creation of the official website. Character sheets enable a player to edit their character’s name, bio, and stats. There is a d20 symbol to roll the dice and randomize the stats to get an idea..
Don’t worry stats aren’t a HARD rule/mechanic at this time anyone can update them to anything, it’s more of an honor system.
Voting Events: In addition to sending a WAGDIE token off to battle, on a quest, and location staking.. WAGDIE tokens also have the 1for1 power to vote. Voting can be used to decide direction in story events and make choices..
Voting can also be used to vote FOR or AGAINST proposals within the Conclave. Yes, we also have a Community Treasury with around $140k USD.

Participation in WAGDIE comes in MANY forms:
In addition to WAGDIE character NFTs, one can also participate via Concord Tokens. We currently have discovered 22/30 of them. When we discover 30 we will be able to sear these concord tokens into our characters (introducing yet another mechanic).
Concord Tokens enable 1for1 voting, except for Her Ember which is 1for2 votes and Flame of 21 which is 1for3 votes.
Concords also provide access to exclusive discords, channels, and roles within The Library, Crow’s Den, and Concord of Research Discords.

Crow’s Den is open to WAGDIE NFT owners, with further access to those with DBG traits and the Den channels to those who posses Crow’s Talon Concord Token & Shrouded traits.

Concord of Research is available to those who possess: Field Notes, Artificer Crystals, as well as Witches’ Brush, Toad, and Cauldron Concord Tokens.
Guilds & Concords/Allegiances are another facet of participation, akin to Factions. Although one does NOT need a Concord of Token to start a Guild, or be in some for that matter. The Decrepits pride themselves on merely anyone daring enough to embrace the boney form. Whereas the Coven of Detriti includes Decrepits, plus those who hold their concord tokens: Witches’ Brush, Toad, and Cauldron of Detriti.

Mozre Dee (traveling Merchant, beasts and armor/weapons?) We don’t yet know how this will play out - but shall learn soon.
Wagdie.net is a website built by 0xG and includes WAG20, on chain questing/dueling. There is also an Item Shop where users can purchase items to aid in Quests. As well as an ease of use burning function for destroying WAGDIE plus a leaderboard tracking all our burns.
