Since the launch of our community program, many things have evolved. More and more of you are active and participate every day in the liveliness of our community.

External observers often say they have never seen such a lively community, and we are very proud of that.

For this reason, we are evolving our community program today.

Introducing New Community Roles

Starting tomorrow, there will be three different grades within our community:

Cadet (Already here)

Reserved for the most involved members who help every day on Discord/Telegram or get involved on social media. Cadets are chosen by the Gate Keepers and Maxime L.

Major (New)

Reserved for the community members who always want to do more and show ingenuity in developing new initiatives with us. Majors are chosen and renewed every month by the Gatekeepers and Maxime L.

Brigadier (Already here)

Reserved for influencers, developers, and KoLs who want to get involved in our project.

New Incentive Structures

Until now, the incentives for the roles of cadets and brigadiers were as follows:

• Cadet: A portion of the dedicated airdrop, based on your Creds.

• Brigadier: A portion of a 1M ELYS pool distributed over time.

For reference :

The Brigadier program works well but seems somewhat oversized in terms of allocation given the number of participants (who truly participate) that we have.

Therefore, the 1M ELYS pool will also be dedicated to the Major program.

Allocation and Distribution

• Brigadiers & Majors must show commitment to qualify for this allocation.

• 500,000 ELYS will still be dedicated to Brigadiers.

• 500,000 ELYS will be dedicated to Majors.

Not all the token be distributed at the launch of our mainnet.

This fund is dedicated to the growth of our community and will be distributed in waves over several months to enable newcomers to our project to participate, or even to enable the most involved to obtain several allocations over time.

The number of Majors will be very limited, and significant investment will be expected to develop initiatives, especially to ensure:

• Consistency in what is produced.

• A real community-driven effort to help newcomers understand how ELYS Network works.

• A personal touch in your creation of initiatives.

Accepted Contributions

Here are some examples of initiatives that can earn you the role of Major:

• Elys Lounge: A great example of an initiative that will make the person in charge a Major.

• CIS Telegram Group: Built by our validator MMS, this group is part of the accepted contributions.

• Italian Telegram Group: Managed by Rana, this group is also an accepted contribution.

• YouTube Videos: Dedicated to Elys Network.

• Educational Threads/Articles: Content that you have made your own, not just our articles remplaced or translated.

Another important point: you don't have to be a Cadet to become a Major

We don't want any grinding on our discord, as you know. An interesting initiative will propel you directly to the role of Major with ease.

Quality and Accuracy

We emphasize quality and accuracy of information.

It is not about producing 10 tweets a day; that will have little importance.

What we want to see are ingenious initiatives of all kinds, always with the desire and intent to contribute in the right way.

Keep in mind that not every initiatives can be accepted and not everyone can do that the right way. Don’t spend hours on that if you are not sure of what you are doing.

The first Majors will be named tomorrow, and then we will explain the process for submitting your participation at the end of the month and how you will be rewarded.
