This time we will have both a hackathon to tackle real-life challenge statements curated from our local non-profits and social enterprises and a conference featuring community hubs inspired by Devcon’s.

Now of course we won’t be revealing to you the challenge statements today in true hackathon fashion. Over the months leading up to the event, we will co-create these challenge statements with our local web3-curious non-profits and social enterprises. Join us as you tackle meaningful problems that they are facing and show the world that web3 can be harnessed for good.

Unlike a typical conference format with sprawling exhibition halls and brightly lit stages, we will have cosy venues and workshops focused on helping you Get Started in the Ethereum ecosystem. For the seasoned participant, advanced topics such as privacy, scaling, and ZK are not to be missed.

Our focus and guiding principle when organising this event is to play our part in growing the Ethereum ecosystem while embodying the values we hold dear. Therefore, after running a successful event, we will be honoured to dedicate our excess funds to supporting our local developers, events, education initiatives, and meaningful public goods for all.
