And besides all that! I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with you all today. The formation of the Guru Core Contributors DAO, and its long-term motivation, incentives, and governance framework. We are a team of Web3/AI professionals who have already gone through fire and ice (DeFi summer and winter). We are rock solid on constantly delivering products: the Block Explorer, Data Warehouse, AI Data Processors, Flow, DexGuru V2, Terminal integration, all within a course of 12 months. This is the dream team, and I’m both a coach (CTO) and a chief (CEO). That’s the role as I see it and to proceed without any delays, we have come up with this Guru Network Governance Framework.
It makes even more sense considering Guru Network's tech-driven nature as a product. We are building the developer ecosystem so that more dApps and users driven by the ecosystem will use AI Processors, Web3 automation, and what’s coming. This isn't just a formality; it’s a game-changer for how we operate, collaborate, and grow together.
We also align Guru Core Contributors and Community(GURU Seasons 1-5 Passes NFTs) incentives by doing contribution/release seasons in both. That’s a fair game and let’s dive into it.
We’re here because we believe in the power of our ideas. We believe that by working together, we can move faster and achieve more. That’s why we’re all in this, openly sharing our plans and incentives. We’re deeply invested in the success of this network, and we want everyone to benefit equally.
Let’s talk numbers. Out of the total token supply, we’ve allocated 60% for distribution. Here’s how it's broken down:
20% for the Guru Seasons 1-5 NFT Holders community: Your active participation is key, and we want to reward you for it divided in the same seasons as Core Contributors. Community Governance wise, we are gonna take Testnet Phase time to adjust the framework which was proposed for Season 1 before https://docs.dex.guru/gurudao/gurudao-bootstrap-guide to modern day realities. We are going public on it and now so no interested parties would back off those decisions without public consequences and that we see as additional incentive for steady growth.
20% for Core Contributors(Guru Network team): This will be divided into seasonal allocations, and Season 1 starts now with the Guru Network testnet phase, ensuring that the contributors' hard work pays off consistently.. Over the course of the testnet phase, Core Contributors Governance would be polished and the Community Governance framework would be proposed for discussion (before Mainnet Launch).
20% for VCs: They’ve already done a lot; they financed Guru Network R&D, brought invaluable networking, mentorship, and advisory capabilities. Helped us in Summer and Winter.
We align community(GURU Seasons 1-5) and Core Contributors team incentives in time and outcomes. Based of that rich idea we will set up a seasonal unlocking system for the core contributors’ allocation (similar to what’s proposed for Community Guru Seasons 1-5):
First Unlock: In six months starting from TGE, 5% of the total supply (of 20% Core Contributors total) will be unlocked. Distribution will follow a traditional half-year/yearly review system based on contributions during the Testnet phase, Mainnet Launch, and Ecosystem Growth. KPI/OKR system is developed by the Core Contributors team at the first phase of governance provisioning. Also, we will be voting for new members and distributing additional allocations to onboard them as core contributors and rockstars.
Subsequent Unlocks: Every six months, another 5% will unlock, maintaining rewards based on continuous performance. CC will vote for claim and distribution in 6-month periods further down the line, making it a total of 4 Core Contributors Seasons.

We are setting up a Multisig Safe with a balanced voting system, where every participant has a voice and a vote. Combining it with our Core Developers Seasons planned for the next two years, the system creates long run incentives for our rockstar core contributors team. The same team that already went through DexGuru, Crypto Winter, a lineup of B2B products, and now this launch of Guru Network!
The community’s 20% allocation will also be unlocked in phases (Seasons 1-5), encouraging ongoing engagement and contributions. If you’re holding Season Pass NFTs and actively participating, you’ll earn rewards from this pool.
Our VCs aren’t just sitting back. They’re providing us with mentorship, advisory services, and networking opportunities, which are crucial for our growth. They’re in this with us, helping us shape the future of Guru Network.
Our mission is to create a space where developers and innovators can thrive. We’re offering tools, workshops, and hackathons to help you build and scale your projects on the Guru Network. We plan incentives for builders, starting with our Guru Season 2 - Builder NFT collection, enabling special capabilities across our products and repositories.
We’re setting this up with a manifesto that focuses on transparency, accountability, and shared success. We’ll be conducting bi-annual reviews to assess performance and distribute rewards. The community will have a voice in our decisions, and we’re committed to continuously improving our governance model.
The creation of the Guru Core Contributors DAO is just the beginning. We’re building a network that values decentralization, collaboration, and shared success. I’m excited to see what we can achieve together. Let’s make this journey incredible.
