Status Report 👷⚙️📗

Residents, last month we recapped how Highstreet is blurring the lines between the physical and digital worlds with an immersive VR MMORPG experience in development, and gearing up for mass adoption of mixed reality and Web3 with the introduction of Apple’s Vision Pro.

With the summer heating up, we’d like to tease a few updates we’re making behind the scenes this month 😎🔮

World Visuals 🎨 🖼️

• Our art and tech teams are working together to beautify the style and aesthetics of our game for you to enjoy, taking concepts to [virtual] reality with a painterly style - updating shaders, colors, textures, skyboxes, and more 👁️

• Christopher, our expedition leader on the ground, sent back a few postcards from Animoca Archipelago, showing us a glimpse of colorful tropical forests and whispers of hidden treasures 👑, wild monsters 🦀, and secret waterfalls 💦

• These islands show the first technical art updates being made to Highstreet World. Adventure awaits, explorer. ⚔️

Game Design 👾 🎮

• Foundations of our MMO Global Experience System including social, exploration, combat, and tradecraft as seen in our roadmap are in progress to create the optimal gameplay experience for our users ➿

• A Player Title System is in the works to be released soon, as part of our extensive Global GUI in development 🧑‍💻

• Smaller updates like wayfinding are being improved starting with a clearer navigation system for elevators on Campus to FOMO Eden 🛖

• P.S. Duck Intelligence is cooking up something in the LAB coming soon.

Marketplace 🛍️🌐

• We rolled out a central Catalog on our website where you can discover all assets currently available on Highstreet like Homes, Pets, and Collectibles, plus links to Official Secondary Marketplaces ✔️

• Phygital Products are labeled and you can also get notified 🔔 of upcoming releases and drops by signing up with your email.

• Look out for more web updates and in-game Metaverse shopping innovations on the way 🛒

Alpha on “X” 🦅

• Highstreet’s Monaco F1 Grand Prix extravaganza was an immense hit, blending a legacy racing event with the equally gripping competition on Animoca Archipelago’s speedway within Highstreet World 🏎️🌴

• Given the extraordinary experience, it’s safe to tease that Highstreet may be gearing up to host another spectacular in-person celebration for future F1 Races. So keep your engines running and stay tuned to our Twitter and join our Discord for more thrilling activities from Highstreet in the near future.

• We held a Twitter Space on the synergies between AI and the Metaverse with our CEO Travis Wu and @ainetwork_ai, a decentralized AI development ecosystem open to all to become the "Internet for AI" in the Web3 era. Listen to the recording here if you missed the live.

FOMO Duck Brand 🐤🌠

• Last, but not least, we’ve been laying down the groundwork to grow our beloved FOMO Duck and squad into a lovable character brand and IP 💛🧡🤎

• We’re putting the final touches on new logos and branding kit, while further developing the lore of ducks in Highstreet World and much more.

• @fomoduck GIPHY has surpassed half a billion views with just 69 uploads and we’re only scratching the surface of what’s possible to expand FOMO Duck into an international phygital brand for Web3 and beyond 🪐

• Our intention is to take FOMO Duck to the moon, and you’re along for the ride.
