Events

The FOAM team will be at Consensus in Austin May 29-31 for Demo Zone with location Coverage in the City. During the conference you can check out our hardware in-person, chat with the team and even use our Proof of Location MVP to mint your first Presence Claim. We will also have FOAM merch. Please come visit our booth and look our for more activation announcements!

The Gen C Demo Area is the home base for emerging technology, DePIN, gaming and blockchain connected hardware and software companies to demo products or services, giving attendees hands-on experience with cutting edge technology & experiences.

We are also sponsoring the Unleashing DePin Happy Hour May 29th in Austin Texas from 3:30-5:30pm, hope to see you there!

Additionally, the ETH San Diego team is also holding their own meetup on May 25 for anyone in that area to get their hands on mobile nodes and mint their first Presence Claims! You can sign up for that here:

FOAM is a Proof of Location technology for applications needing secure location services. It enables a handshake between the location service providers and the user, proving the user’s location. Terrestrial radios and time-of-flight algorithms are used to perform localizations, and digital signatures ensure the location data cannot be spoofed. The system is completely independent of satellite-based location services like GPS.
