On September 28th, Gametaverse invited Genesis Universe, a Web3 card battle strategy game, for a live AMA on our Discord. MoDMA from GU, also an OG in the crypto world, joined us and updated us on the development of their project and their understanding of the current market.

Here is a recap of this AMA session:

Session One: The rise and fall of the token price should not be the focus

Q1: How do you view GameFi as a new category/subset of crypto or the blockchain system? What concept attracted you to join this sector in the first place?

GameFi is a good way to show the features and technology of blockchain. Players can learn about blockchain/liquidity mining/DeFi/NFT by playing. I am a gamer myself, and I especially like games with mythological backgrounds. Genesis Universe combines legends and myths from all over the world and brings in the technology of blockchain. I think the future development of this project is exciting.

Q2: What major pain points or opportunities did you identify and decide to leverage with your project?

We found that players are generally distrustful of projects in a bear market. And there are even many projects that are scams. Fortunately, our project is not only recognized by multiple projects and the web3 Community, but also our development team is strong enough. The Genesis Universe is a fusion of cultures from all over the world, aiming to remove geographical restrictions and allow everyone to communicate with each other on the Genesis Universe.

Q3: What are the unexpected obstacles you’ve encountered and insights/best practices you’ve learnt along the development and marketing process?

I must say that the current bear market situation is indeed a problem, but I believe not only our project, but all web3 users are also looking for ways to break through. We also see this as an opportunity to focus on developing the game, listening carefully to the community, and when the problem at hand is resolved, we will be ready for a bull market.

Q4: What’s your business model and how’s it different/innovative compared with other projects in the same category?

P2E will remain the essence of GameFi. We continue to improve the economic model of the game, in order to provide players with a good and long-term playing environment. Genesis Universe has a variety of ways to play, no matter what kind of player you are, you can find your favorite way to play here. 

Q5: What’s your opinion on the current GameFi market? Bullish or bearish? Why?

I think that compared to other types of projects, the GameFi project can attract a group of players whether in a bear market or a bull market.

The rise and fall of the token price should not be the focus of the project, (of course we have plans to protect the price, which is very important). We hope our users can focus more on gameplay and get rewards naturally. We think that will be the right way.

Session Two: User Experience & Partnerships

Q1: What are the security measures that have been made so far to make the platform secure from hackers as the hackers are now a days getting stronger to stole the data of the investors?

We also attach great importance to the user's security experience. All contracts in the game have passed the inspection of audit institutions. You can find relevant information in our white paper.  We believe only safety can make each other closer.

Q2: Why did you build Genesis Universe, what was your motivation to start this project? What is the difference between the Genesis Universe project to attract the interest of investors?

Genesis Universe is a Web3 card battle strategy game, with mythical characters exploring and fighting in an uncertain world. The development team builds a virtual world based on the BSC chain that integrates strategy, DeFi, luck, and trading. In the game, players can participate in different camps and draw hero NFTs to go on an adventure and upgrade heroes by finding different materials. We hope to create a good entertainment and refined economic model to contribute a new P2E game to Web3.

Q3: User experience is a very important issue in most projects. Does Genesis Universe focus on this? What has Genesis Universe done to bring the best user experience, especially to new users?

User experience is a very important issue, I totally agree. We accept feedback from the community and allow community members to participate in the construction of our project. I believe that a good user experience will come from listening carefully to user feedback.

Q4: Currently, most investors only focus on price of token in short-term instead of the real value of project. Could you tell us the benefits of holding your token for long-term?

If you hold the tokens of our project for a long time, you will grow with the Genesis Universe project, and you can enjoy all the rewards during this period such as token airdrops/game NFT card draw/liquidity mining...etc. The most important thing is that you will be family with us.

Q5: Partnership is one of the most important elements to affirm the trust and reliability of any project to the community. Can you share about your commercial partnership? How will they influence Genesis Universe development?

We have indeed reached cooperation agreements with many projects, including GameFi project/wallet project/exchange project/cross-chain protocol/game guild, etc. These collaborations are carefully selected resources that can make us stronger.

Session Three: Main Focus & the Name

Q1: Do you have a Token Burning plan to increase Token value and attract Investors to invest?

We have a liquidity pool to support the price of coins at any time.

Q2: I find in the Twitter that HIRING program is going on. Can you give me information about that? What are the requirement to be hired?

Q3: Where can I buy $GUT? Is it listed and if not do you have any presale or fair launch plan? Can you explain me more on this?

We will list our NFT by exchange next month, then will going to token public sale.

Q4: What's your main focus right now, are you focused on the community or market/Exchange or the products?

We focus on development & community now. And we will try to do our best!

Q5: The name of your project is really great. So what is the reason behind choosing this name as project name? Are there any special stories?

We will create a whole new universe. There is no longer any difference between people. The story of the god’s war and us. That’s Genesis Universe.
