Web3 Fashion Week June 2022 | Self Sovereign Streetwear
Last week we announced that Web3 Fashion Week will be hitting the streets of NYC and other digital realms this summer, coinciding with NFT NYC. This is one of the next big IRL events for the GMS, as we go live with Realm Runway #2 and include a multitude of lead up meta model experiences.
Fast Cars and Surprise Crow Bars
Riccardo wowed in his latest photoshoot, filled with fast cars and surprise crow bars. It’s also live here to collect as an NFT! There’s now a direct line to move into web3 for models, by minting as an NFT the work that previously would just either stay in your photo drafts or be uploaded to the social media channels controlled by Zuck and his buddies. Freeing content into the decentralised metaverse is so much more than just a joy ride.
Upcoming GMS Live Photoshoot Event
This Tuesday the GMS is co-hosting a models x photographers CC0 NFT photoshoot event at Lume Studios. The content taken at the event can then be used and sold as NFTs by the involved models and photographers, with splits routed to each contributor. If you haven’t already RSVP’ed and would like to attend, message in the GMS or DIGITALAX discord and we’ll make sure you’re on the list!

Resplendent in a glimmering body suit, Micah’s latest pose shot doesn’t go unnoticed on CT. One of the most salient aspects that this photo brings to mind, is how every facet of this style can become digitally enhanced in countless ways. Imagine if those rhinestones translated to coins? Gamified photography is a field that is yet to be explored by the web3 community, but the opportunities are endless, and the GMS will be diving more in soon.

The third CC0 collaboration for Models of the Realms | Digitals of Elsewhere hit the runway marketplace. Beyond just super cool mix art by Himekichu, being able to continuously put out public domain content into the web3 models community serves as a really strong foundation for every creator yet to come.
Models & 3D Modeling

It combines classic statuesque poses with hand crafted 3D models that can also be collected separately. As a model, being able to further express yourself with the digital tools and softwares that each of us have access to, sets you on a greater course to determine your own destiny and build out the range of what’s creatively possible.
