Layer 2 Chain Goshen to Make its Code Open Source

Ontology-Incubated Project Open Sources Code Ahead of Mainnet Launch

Goshen, a fast and low-cost Ethereum-equivalent Optimistic Rollup L2 blockchain solution for Ethereum scaling, is excited to announce the open sourcing of its codebase. The project, incubated by Ontology, is currently live on testnet with a mainnet launch scheduled for later this year.

The Goshen repository can be found at https://github.com/goshennetwork. Goshen aims to encourage transparency, collaboration, and engagement from the wider blockchain community by making the codebase open source. The project believes that this will help accelerate innovation and strengthen the security of the platform.

In conjunction with the open-sourcing announcement, Goshen will launch an upcoming bug bounty program to incentivize developers and security researchers to identify and report vulnerabilities in the codebase. Specific details on the bug bounty, including the scope, rewards, and submission guidelines, will be shared soon.

Goshen's Optimistic Rollup L2 blockchain aims to provide a fast and low-cost alternative to Ethereum, addressing the issues of network congestion and high transaction fees. With the support of Ontology, Goshen aims to revolutionize the blockchain space by making decentralized applications more accessible and user-friendly.

We invite all developers to join the Goshen Discord #dev channel, where you can share your thoughts, ask technical questions, and collaborate with fellow developers passionate about Goshen's mission. As an added bonus, Goshen's core developer, Kenny, will be participating in this Thursday's community call. Don't miss this unique opportunity to engage with Kenny and gain valuable insights into Goshen's development and future plans.

About Goshen

Goshen Network is a fully Ethereum-equivalent optimistic rollup protocol that utilizes a RISC-V machine to support on-chain computing and provides a trustless Layer 2 environment to perform transactions.

The network aims to decrease transaction latency and increase throughput while reducing gas fees and maintaining decentralization and security from Ethereum.

We are just getting started and really excited to tell more about the project. Keep up with our latest news on Twitter or join our Discord community now.
