The seeds for Gratitude Blooming were planted by Arlene’s 100-day Blooming Love project. She sketched one new plant each day and learned to listen to them. For Arlene, she has realized how each person the cards reaches (like each of these plants and flowers) is so full of beauty, wisdom and power in their own unique, artful way. Arlene is a lifelong aspiring painter, musician, poet and designer. She believes life is one big practice of art when we stay open, curious and pay attention to what we are moved to express in the world -- and that the road to mastery requires continual learning and devotion to our craft. Her superpowers are time bending, being able to "hear" plants and poets, and feeling love even in the darkest places (all various forms of extreme patience, presence and understanding).

Belinda Liu
Visionary and Co-Founder

Belinda is a non-profit education leader, coach, entrepreneur, and nature-inspired visionary.  Her superpowers are shining a light on people’s strengths, bringing them out into the world, and creating life-changing tools and experiences for deep growth. She co-founded Gratitude Blooming and Hestia Retreat Center to lead new paradigms for personal and group transformation using nature, art and self-inquiry. She is also the co-host of the Gratitude Blooming Podcast.

Omar Brownson
Partner and Storyteller

Inspired by land, storytelling and gratitude, Omar finds joy in making good visible. Omar is a serial entrepreneur, public speaker and co-hosts the Gratitude Blooming Podcast. Currently, he is the web3 advisor to Full Spectrum Capital and founder of web3 accelerator Los DAO. Previously, Omar was the co-founder and of gratitude app gthx and founding executive director of RiverLA where he collaborated with the world-renowned architect Frank Gehry and local leaders to reimagine this 51-mile public resource and ecosystem. He has held leadership positions across finance, land use, and social impact. Wherever he is, Omar makes sure to notice joy, healing and synchronicity.

Brian Vasquez
Producer

Brian’s love for audio began at two years old with his first Fisher-Price cassette recorder. On any given day, this small wonder of technology gave his imagination permission to run wild as a sportscaster, a preacher or a musician.  A self-taught and Grammy-nominated audio producer, Brian has never forgotten the magic and craft of audio. What is most true for Brian is that sound is eternal and sacred.
