Starting Season 7, we will make significant improvements to how XP rewards are calculated for Halo Influencer Badge holders to ensure fairness and transparency in distribution.
Major Changes:

Holding Period Impact: The length of time you hold a HIB now influences the amount of XP you receive. Longer holdings mean greater rewards.

Daily Rankings Influence: Your XP rewards are also affected by the daily rankings of each HIB you hold.
Implementation:
- We will capture a daily snapshot of each user's HIB holdings and their rankings at a random time each day. This ensures that our rewards system is both fair and unpredictable to encourage genuine engagement.
Calculations:
- The XP you earn by the end of the season is calculated based on the daily rankings of the HIBs you hold, averaged over the number of days in the season.
Example:

Day 1: You hold HIB 'A', and it ranks No. 1.
- XP displayed: Your share of XP for 'A' ranking No. 1.

Day 2: You still hold HIB 'A', now ranked No. 3.
- XP displayed: (Your XP for 'A' ranked No. 1 + No. 3) / 2 days

Day 3: You hold HIB 'A' ranked No. 3 and HIB 'B' ranked No. 5.
- XP displayed: (Your XP for 'A' ranked No. 1 + No. 3 + No. 3 + 'B' ranked No. 5) / 3 days

- XP displayed: (Your XP for 'A' ranked No. 1 + No. 3 + No. 3 + 'B' ranked No. 5) / 4 days
Where to Find Your League XP Reward Display
Once you hold a badge, your ongoing XP rewards can be tracked under the “Leaderboard” section by selecting the “Info” icon. This will display your League XP Reward.
